german food, Niks Wunderbar is great. 37 beers on tap. Sit at the bar, not the tables. Hank and Matt are very VERY knowledgeable beertenders. Matt more-so (mini zach galafanakis). I think it's in Whitehouse. Jersey City's Biergarten is good too. I think it's the Zeppelin Hall. However I think you have to go get your own food and there's one in Hoboken which I cannot remember the name, but it's really loud and packed there. Not ideal if you actually want to talk to your date.
