having said that, some of these articles irk me when they don't get little details correct. When it's your profession to get things correct, how can you make shitty little mistakes like:

Matched up against one of the best cornerbacks in the league for much of the afternoon, Beckham finished with seven catches for 108 yards, both season highs. Beckham's performance earned him one of the few spots on our "stud" list against Seattle.
If I'm not mistaken, Beckham had his season high in reception and receiving yards against the Colts with (8 receptions and 156 yards). While you can say that some of those numbers were garbage time numbers, the mere fact that these guys don't even know what happened the week prior really makes you question if they even follow any of these players to see their progression but rather look at their latest to make half-assed assumptions.
Sorry...totally off tangent, but in a profession of accuracy, these guys suck. Link - ( New Window )
I posted Hank Gola's Giants Seahawks preview on Sunday and his big matchup was Mebane against Brandon Mosley. I get his point that Mebane is a force but we haven't seen Brandon since preseason.
as stated by someone constantly on the game day thread that Eli had 2 WIDE OPEN guys underneath, in reality he didnt. Donnell may have had a half of step but again it wasnt underneath. The one WR is covered, and the other WR fell down.
If OBJ has 1 on 1 coverage again this week, I hope Eli goes to him repeatedly. He has looked awesome.
RE: Agree...if OBJ stays healthy, the sky is the limit for him...

Perhaps they are season highs against Richard Sherman? if so, it is poorly worded, but would then make sense.

Yeah...that would make sense to a degree, but then that would make him even a worse writer since one of the big plays that Powell refers to (part of the total OBJ stat) didn't even come against Sherman when OBJ was in the slot position.
I'm obviously bored that I'm dissecting this article...ha.
only a Niners fan would think Sherman is overrated.
He's a top 3 CB in the NFL. Saying he's not on Primetimes level (arguably the best cover CB in history) isn't really a knock. Though Sherman at least supports the run.

I hope he does too, I just hope the WR is in stride and its not a jump ball throw.
the guy on top of screen would have been open but he fell- that hurt that play and likely left the throw to odb late.
on the play where he burned Sherman? I know the Giants ended up scoring anyway but he seemed to dive for the ball unnecessarily when he could have just ran through the ball and kept running for 6.

The mistakes are different but they occur far too often.

On a pure 1 on 1?
I'd say against Julio Jones or Roddy White, 2012 NFC Divisional Playoff game.
On an alleged busted coverage:
2013 against T.Y. Hilton
2014 against Desean Jackson
Overrated corner, and by no means a burner like Deion Sanders. When Earl Thomas isn't there to protect him, he can be had deep by a speedster.
Still, doesn't take away anything from Beckham. Looks great, a lot of teams would love to have a guy like that. Nice pickup there.
