Just not feeling good about tomorrow

joe48 : 11/15/2014 9:05 pm
Hoping for a competitive game but based on our trend expecting another tough game. I have been a fan since going back to Charley Conerly. This team is hard to watch but I will of course. It is even tougher knowing we have a franchise quarterback wasting his prime years with oft- injured players who are not talented nor motivated seven games let.
I fully expect
Blue Blood : 11/15/2014 9:13 pm : link
a very injured team with little talent and little incentive to do what it has done consistently.. play below its level...
I have a feeling we'll see a close first half followed by another 2nd
SGMen : 11/15/2014 9:13 pm : link
half flop.

We simply don't have the depth of talent to stick with the better teams right now. It is just that simple.

SF doesn't need to get crazy. Run, play sound defense, wear down our defense and win, say 28-24 or something like that.

I think Eli will be "proficient" and maybe doubling Beckham now will open things up some underneath to Donnell but where is Randle? He just sucks and if he stays #2 next year I'll be stunned.
our team is dropping like flies
spike : 11/15/2014 9:14 pm : link
and our coaches underprepare for each game, so what should we expect?
I hate to say this
Blue Blood : 11/15/2014 9:17 pm : link
but im hoping for a top ten draft pick.. drafting at the top of every round with a good draft we can start to get this team turned around..
I think they'll show up and play well
kepler20 : 11/15/2014 9:24 pm : link
nothing like playing to knock out a playoff hopeful.

Only thing is that I still don't think they'll win.
They're going to get manhandled
Dave in PA : 11/15/2014 9:42 pm : link
just like every other game against a good opponent
lose every game
5J : 11/15/2014 9:47 pm : link
Get into the top of the draft. Get an instant impact stud player.
^^^^^^^^^^
BlueManFu : 11/15/2014 9:59 pm : link
Agreed. The ceiling for this team is 6-10 IMO, but for draft purposes I'd rather be a 3-4 win team and pick top 5. The mathematical chance for playoffs is microscopic and once they are officially out I see no benefit whatsoever of scratching 2-3 more feeble wins. Reset.
anything less than a blowout is a bonus from here on out

for me.
I know it's probably better longterm if we lose
PetesHereNow : 11/15/2014 10:45 pm : link
but, the game starts, I see the blue helmets, and it all goes out the window, and I'm screaming my fool head at the TV like we're 7-2 playing for homefield.
I can't see how we can stop SF's running game.
yatqb : 11/15/2014 11:46 pm : link
We've been SO bad at playing the run that I'm convinced that we'll get our asses handed to us again. Very sad to see our team so outclassed routinely.

3-13 is the goal now, although I suspect we will beat Jacksonville and perhaps the Skins and Titans.
Yeah our entire team and coaching staff
bignygfan : 11/16/2014 1:42 am : link
is full of blithering idiots.

I will hide under a chair during this one.
7 Games to
JoefromPa : 11/16/2014 7:03 am : link
play, six losses. Guarantee that Coughlin is coaching to win all seven not conceding anything. Of course that competitive attitude is exactly why he is on the sidelines as a two time winning Super Bowl team, thinking of ways to win today and why he is not a fan hoping to lose for a better draft pick.

Question, if Giants end up with top five pick and get off to 3-6 start again next season, do we write that season off too.

I remember 07 at 0-2 many posters throwing in the towel on that season. Of course they got back on board quickly which is exactly what will happen again this season if Giants go on a win streak beginning today.

Of course some of you know that won t happen because teams that are playing poorly never turn it around.
The only way we can can win is
OburgBob : 11/16/2014 7:11 am : link
by outscoring the 49ers. Without consistent OL play, that will never happen. Our DL needs to provide pressure while maintaining edge contain. I'm not optimistic that either line can step up enough.

Same here. I mean I'll feel like a sucker the whole time, but that won't stop me.
I have a bad feeling that they will be 3-8 after next week.

I'm already having nightmares about the building being filled with asshole Cowboy fans sticking it to us
.
FStubbs : 11/16/2014 7:38 am : link
The sad thing is even if the Giants finish 3-13, I doubt the Raiders and Jags win that many. 3-13 could have you picking 4th or 5th this year.
Hey hey hey
blueblood'11 : 11/16/2014 8:28 am : link
Wait a minute. The magic of Disney is at play here now. Tom got them all riled up having them watch the Lion King. You know, Hakuna Matataa. Maybe next week he'll have them watch episodes of Doc McStiffins' after they get the shit kicked out of them this week to heal their wounds and get them ready for the Cowboys next week.

This how bad it has gotten. Showing Disney movies to motivate. How about Alice in wonderland. I think Perry Fewell starred in that one. He played the Cheshire Cat.
