did Perry Fewell go back to Army?

jeffusedtobeonwebtv : 11/16/2014 8:18 am
I believe one of his previous jobs was with Army.

They must have been following his schemes yesterday against Western Kentucky. They gave up 383 yards on the ground and another 178 passing. Western Kentucky scored 52 points against them. One player, Leon Allen, ran for 345 yards and 3 touchdowns. The 345 yards rushing is a new Conference USA record. The previous record holder was Matt Forte.

It was actually a close game for a while. With 3 seconds left in the half, Army (after missing a short field goal on their previous offensive series) was only trailing bay 7 points. At that point they gave up a 45 yard Hail Mary pass for a touchdown as time ran out.

Truly the spirit of Perry Fewell was with them.

had two stints as a Black Knights assistant. I believe we should use that connection and see if we can't get him to coach the Pine Gap, Australia Army Base football club.
You know

I never did understand how this was the guy Tom decided on in the first place. Was his resume that good? There wasn't anybody else out there that had a better track record? I'd never really heard much about him other then his secondary in Buffalo was adept at creating turnovers. Great. That defense overall stunk anyway. He wasn't the DC there I don't believe!

I know he was the interim coach after the head coach who I don't remember who he was was let go. Buffalo thought so much of Fewell they let the Giants have him. Shit.

Wasn't Dick Jauron the Buffalo head coach let go? Anyway, Fewell was the DC there and did ok. He seemed pretty passionate when he took over. I just don't think his game plans are that great and we play, to me, what often looKS like the old read and react D! No pressure and this D falls apart.

he had dick jauron holding his hand in an easier, low key division

he has been exposed on his own, in the nfc east
Buffalo was a bad foortball team period when he was there

both with him as a DC and interim HC. His fault? I don't know but he certainly wasn't the answer for them.
Oh I get it!

Let me try one. The Timberwolves gave up 131 points last night. Was Fewell coaching for them?

Deserves blame for hiring him Lewis and Sheridan and for not stopping the obvious issues occurring under each one.
Once we get rid of Fewell

Going to be so nice to watch this defense automatically rise to the top.

What a smiling fool.
