last week, I think the Giants give us false hope for 3 quarters. The only way the Giants win is if we get alot of turnovers and take them deep into 9ers territory for touchdowns.
What is it? 20 consecutive opening offensive drives without a TD?
fear that turnovers are the only way we can stop the 49ers, which is really bad. They were owning us. Herzlich and Kiwi are very slow. Would like to see more of Moore, but that's apparently asking for too much.
and winning games damages our draft position but losing to the fucking Niners and Cowboys in back to back weeks would hurt more than losing draft position
they were not calling pass interference on that even though it was probably not.
Yeah, if OBJ got face-guarded like that by Perrish Cox on the Niners we'd be screaming for a flag. 95% of the time that flag gets thrown even though face-guarding is not technically illegal
he got faked, but he shouldn't be put in that position. KP is one of the most mobile QBs in the league. As someone said, that's one reason why you play Moore.

Kaep can fake most if not all DL in the league, but Kiwi looked slow as shit.
... problem is ... based upon what I've seen so far, the odds seem pretty overwhelming that San Fran isn't likely to punt the entire game ... so there are going to be a LOT more points scored
sure a bad decision but when you really look at it, the play is poorly designed. You have Beckham dropping down about 6-8 yards downfield and STOPPING. Why? You are taking away his quickness and ability to shake loose from defenders and making it easy for the LB to make a play. YOU also make it virtually impossible to pickup yards after the catch because Beckham will have to turn and then start running again.
Would rather that play be a shallow crossing route with Beckham dragging the LB across with him.
is what Robinson was supposed to be, a pass catching TE with speed down the seam. Donnell needs to work on his blocking, but at least he can run and catch. Robinson can't get on the field.
Also this is team is unwatchable. Forntwo years now. If ownership doesn't make total change why watch? Is this enjoyable for anyone. Shit football 90% of the time?
This is what I have been saying for a while now. We cannot afford to have Eli play like this. We know he is capable of playing great. However, this good game/bad game thing just kills us.
When the rest of the offense is mediocre, we cannot afford for our QB to be mediocre too. Great players will put it all on their shoulders and will carry AND elevate the rest of the unit. He simply is not doing that.
Still...we have the rest of the game for him to make enough plays to win. The score is still only 9-7
Eli saw he wasn't going to and tried to pull it back too late.
Bingo.
But stop making sense. Just easier to blame Eli. Eli started to throw before Randle made his cut, and whe nRandle ran something different he couldnt stop - hence why the ball came out funny.
Here the deal...if RR is the piece of crap many seem to believe, why are we still playing him?
If he and Manning can't get on the same page, how much worse can Washington, Ogletree, or anybody be?
Enough is enough, Manning should force him to take a seat.
Freakin Eli apologists...was it OBJ fault on that pick? Or how about the overthrow to RR on th slant?

The first INT was absolutely on Eli, not tough to admit. But when we see ANOTHER INT because Randle isnt where Eli expects.... I think its pretty clear RR is just a complete idiot.
I love the Giants because they are my home team and I love the way they handle themselves as an organization. I love their history and they have given me many great memories. I will always cheer for them but this team is terrible and I barely have anyone on it that I really get excited about.
The Giants are about running the ball being physical and defense and they lack all of it.

How do you know it was the wrong route? Randle wasn't open and Cox was going to jump the route. For all we know that's what Eli saw.

our offense fucking stinks...now the 2nd half, our defense will fucking stink...sandwiched in between are penalties, turnovers and dumb ass decision-making like not running out of bounds.
He coaches every game like a trip the Super Bowl is on the line.
But he has terrible players.
It's terrible to watch...
How do you define coaching because... I don't see it. Other than making weird faces on the sidelines and yelling at officials. I really don't see what he does on the sidelines.
mentally fucking dumb...even Eli's IQ seems downgraded hanging out with Randle for so long. We pick the right time to drop passes and when the ball "slips" out of Eli's hands, or gets deflected, they get INT'd somehow.
Eli is not a $24 million per year QB and it prevented the Giants from re-signing Linval Joseph. Also, Reese has had sub-par drafts which includes the mind-boggling Nassib in the 4th round. Other honorable mentions - Austin, Barden, Robinson, Hosely, Wilson, Randle, Damontre (3rd round pick for a special teams guy).
I guess Andre Williams might not have been the problem
When Gilbride was here even last year Eli was able to them down the field in quick order in the two minute drill. This McAdoo offense is like a diesel going up hill. I hate it.
or these coaches can't coach. I do not see anyone that flashes talent on this team except for Beckham, DRC, Eli, Ayers and Donnell.
I know that the Giants have had bad luck with injuries and it has hurt their draft picks but when you look at this team I just don't see anything. Either Reese and crew have done a terrible job or the coaches just can't develop players. Or maybe it is both. They luck like an expansion team being lead by a 2X Super Bowl champion.
Think that 2nd into looked like a busted slant route? That ball was thrown as if a slant was hand signaled. I'd like to think Eli isn't that bad that he would throw the ball to no one. Lol
Well you understand a slant is a timing play and the Qb expects the WR to be there? Its not like RR has ever ran the wrong route before?
You are insufferable. Eli is having one of his finest seasons because so much is on his shoulders. But he isn't perfect and will make bad plays, especially when he has to make plays for them to compete. But you can't even admit when he makes bad plays.

I think its a miscommunication which seems to happen with Randle and Eli alot. I'd go with randle being at fault If I had to guess without knowing what the route was called for in that play
RE: I guess Andre Williams might not have been the problem
I've been saying that for awhile. The OL sucks. Richburg has not played well lately, Pugh has regressed, and Jerry and Walton have been flat out awful.
O has no big play ability. In cuts by Randle for fifteen is all we've got. Beckham is a deep threat, but he's just one, and can be taken out with a S over the top.
Haven't heard anything from Parker today, but Eli had him wide open on at least one play and didn't see him.
No running game.
Offense is just so limited.
My only consolation to this shitty season was Eli's stats
the second one..seems like Randle..miscommunication again
Randle had made his cut and was heavily covered by Cox who had position to jump the route (it's Randle he's not going to run away from a CB) before Eli threw the ball. My reading is that Eli saw the coverage and tried to clutch the ball but it got away from him.

Now all the fucktards have arrived.
Never said he was perfect nor did I absolove him from blame on the 1st pick. But idiots like you are more insufferable because you have no clue what you are talking about.

To be fair to Pugh, I think he's pretty obviously been hobbled by one or more injuries.
Giants 26th game in a row with consecutive with a turnover
Has got to drop the read on that 2nd pick. He actually should have audibled based on the coverage. It's just a poor decision on his part. Eli has to be better than Randle and rise above mistakes by his other players. Great QBs have to do it all the time.

Agreed. He was also playing next to Jerry, who is awful. But I think he's also regressed.
I guess I'll be told that I don't know anything about football, but without hurling insults, I still think both INTs were on Eli.
I'd appreciate if you would drop the invective and offensive language. I was trying to conversation and analyze with you but now you are attacking everyone and using inexcusable insults.
or holding some terrible active streak. This team needs a change at the top. Everyone says who are you going to get that is better then Coughlin but the last 3 years you can't get worse. Also Reese has just done an awful job and also should go. Time for a change.
I'd appreciate if you would drop the invective and offensive language. I was trying to conversation and analyze with you but now you are attacking everyone and using inexcusable insults.
Pretty much how it goes with him. He's a loose cannon. I wouldn't argue with him. It's pointless.
how BlueLou will blame Eli for two drops on perfectly thrown balls?
Yeah leading OBJ at the extent of his reach into a closing safety is "perfect." OBJ has no excuse not to catch it but perfect is only in your pathetic opinion.
A top 5 pick. I see this team maybe winning one more game. They keep losing players and are going to start to mail it in. I wonder how John Mara will react to all those empty seats and Cowboy fans next week.
how does our linebackers coach keep his job year after year?
who could blame anyone for selling their tickets or just planning to do anything but watch this horrible excuse for a football team. It's simply not a good product and unwatchable in every respect yet like many here I'm a prisoner to this for a litany of reasons that we all share.
they look like they are a bunch of guys that couldn't make an NFL roster and have been patched together on a team. If you think about it they pretty much are a patch work team because of draft failures.
They must do something after this season or it will only get worse.

No the sad part is, even with this record, they are probably drafting 10th

Was it RR? Hahaha then why I am not surprised. To me it looked like a slant which we have been throwing all game long. If it was RR it would make sense because the slants have been thrown to him successfully.
fake the inside handoff after run run on first and second down
This is despicable and anyone to asserts otherwise is a moron.
The 2nd down run I suppose is understandable because they were in nickel. Competent teams should be able to run to the outside against that formation from a 2 TE set. But this team can't run, and the coaching staff would do well to get that into their heads. They've also gotten away from short passing.
Jerry and Brown are just awful. These guys shouldn't be anywhere close to starting on any team. Eli under constant pressure with no threat of a running game trying to make something happen. It's pretty simple to see.

Generally, agreed. This is a complete mess from top to bottom
If you only need an inch why not just have Eli run leap behind the center? I don't understand why they risked moving the ball backward for a hand off. Other than one play, the Giants haven't been able to run the ball.
you have to QB sneak, I don't care if you audible to do so.
Holy fuck. Giants fans are the fucking worst.
Dep, I not debating you here. My only point is that Eli should have blown off the sideline and just ran a sneak. Trusted himself. I wouldn't blame him. He is the leader on the offense.
terrible review. Bottom line. It was a clear first down.
Pereira's comments were BS also. First of all, he caught the ball at the sticks, so forward progress should have gotten the first. Second he seemed to extend the ball past the line before stepping out. Third, the ball didn't cross the sidelines when he extended it. It was a clear first down any way you slice it.
Either way, how do you not call a sneak?
I also don't know why you bother with the onside kick only to cal 2 straight runs. They continue to suck any momentum out of this team.
did they not sneak it or hand it to Ryno? By waiting for Jennings it gave the Niner D time to penetrate! Garbage!
The FB run has consistently worked for us on short yardage. Our coaching staff is moronic.
We can all look to the injuries and dearth of talent but the coaching staff is certainly not above reproach and that's not just based on that last call on 4th and inches. Everyone on the sidelines in a coaching capacity has gone stupid on us as well.
I have always thought Ross sucked anyway but now I want Reese gone. He has neglected the front 7 on D and allowed the O-line to age and didn't address it soon enough. They have had to many draft picks that are busts and this team uis paying for it.
you want ELI MANNING to sneak it behind J.D. WALTON??
I know we have injuries along the OLine, but good god! Our backups are nothing more than practice squad players! TC is an excellent coach, but even he could pull it off with the guys given him! SMFH!

Stop absolving coughlin from this mess. 6/7 years we've missed the playoffs
The refs screwed up. But, I think McAdoo has sucked also. He calls a slow developing run on 4th and inches instead of a sneak or even the FB, which they've had some luck with. Then go back to the onside kick. He calls 2 straight runs to suck the momentum out of that play.
Then, to a lesser degree you can question his mix of pass and run. With Williams, for 4 weeks he tried to establish the run well after it was established that they couldn't run it and well after the Giants were behind. Now, with Jennings back and the passing game struggling, he ignores the run for the most part, until the last couple of drives. I don't think he is a bad coach and I do think he deserves a season with a better OL and WRs. But, I also think his gameplans and playcalling have left a lot to be desired.
if they took Borland in round 3 like I wanted instead of Bromley. They would have 3 solid starters with pro bowl potential. Hopefully Bromley develops into a solid starter or else Reese really missed on a solid LB that this team so desperately needs.
doing his impersonation of a cigar store Indian or was that a cigar store Indian doing an impersonation of Charlie Brown? Either way, Eli has to eat that and live to fight another play.
The ball have iqs lower than room temperature. It was a link. Eli just had to push his body. He calls hike he knows when the play starts and all he has to do is push a millimeter and dive on the ground.
Worst playcall I ever saw given how we ran it today.
And will miss him dearly but i cant wait for him to retire(when hes ready) so we can escape this over analysis of 1 fucking player on every fucking play. The entire team stinks minus a handful of guys and all some of you do is look to point to 1 player for the problems

yeah but that whole DL was in backfield on snap..No OL on that play and it was disgusting
No, a QB the caliber of Eli still has to not make that throw.
On the last one? He has no time to decide whether Randle is going to finish his slant or not. If he keeps running, it's in his chest for a first down.
You never have time to decide if the WR will finish the slant. A slant, by design is thrown to a spot you expect the WR to be in. It is a timing route.
But its his decision to throw the ball, and to Ruben Randle to boot. That kid would not see another pass his way unless he was sitting in the end zone all by himself!
It figures that the first time in ages the D shows up
Long enough to where if Eli is not comfortable that Randle knows WTF to do... Eli should be telling Coughlin that he cannot work with this guy. As the leader of this offense, he can either make him a better player, or get him off of the field and work with someone like Parker or Washington...or anyone.
We have 4 INTs today and at least two of them in scoring position. We are still in this game. Time to make a few plays IN A ROW.
I get it, Randle's getting some yards. But this connection doesn't work. Please play Corey Washington - it can't be any worse. Who else is this team developing while guys like Randle stink it up?

No, they were in the backfield on a slow developing run. On the snap, it would be almost impossible for the sneak not to work. How often does a sneak fail to pick up a fucking inch.
new Manningham. Any INT thrown within 10 yards of him is his fault.
You are correct - A bunch of knuckleheads. Its Randle's fault - he put a uniform on.
He's not correct.
Manningham may have screwed up mentally occasionally, but on the whole, he was a solid NFL WR. He legitimately was better at everything an NFL WR could be better at (other than physical height, which Randle barely uses) than Randle.
Randle today. He seems to thrive between the numbers, and is terrible on the outside. I had never heard that analysis of him, but it does seem pretty accurate. I also would not be surprised if he has been playing with an undiagnosed concussion. on the play at the end of the first half, when he fumbled, his head slammed to the turf. He didn't lose the ball until his head hit and his eyes were shut for a while.
but what rule prohibits Randle from playing a bit of defense?
Not a rule, but his not actually being an adequate NFL quality WR probably does.
Eli blows today, but JFC, the sooner RR is off this team, the better. I don't care if he's fucking Reese's daughter or not.
Let's not forget how Reese profusely stated that Randle was NFL ready!! That statement alone should get his ass fired!! Whether he's f%$king his daughter or not!

I spin Reese's comments as meaning that RR was a finished product -- he was as good (or "good" in this case) as he was going to get from the get, which is closer to accurate than any other interpretation would be.
but i dont blame Eli. The play calling was horrible. Would have rather seen some isolation to the outside and then have the WR to a quick hitter on the inside.
On Donnell? Got hammered and no call but they called on earlier with no contact.
Second. The coaching staff should be fired. Since plaxico they love that play and it fails much more often then succeed. AWFUL. John Lynch is right. They are stubborn and keep, calling the same play.
Both these teams suck moose balls. In fact a majority of this league sucks moose balls. Once you realize that and stop getting so upset over these games you will be better off.
they wouldn't get a TD. He should have thrown to somebody in the middle on a cross.
Donnell likely should have caught it, but you would think Eli would lead him to the outside just a little bit. Let Donnell screen the baall with his body.
That's why the in game narratives are just ridiculous. They talk up Coughlin at the beginning of these games and right after halftime and then go on to question the playcalling in these games. They must have a low opinion of the Niners to run three fades or no creative ideas.
This is what putting the final nail in a coffin looks like. Terrible playcalling, panic moves all day by Eli and horrible FA signings like Brown have guaranteed major changes are coming. Pull the trigger Mara and please give us some hope to get off this rollercoaster. It's okay to say how grateful we are over and over for the 2 Super Bowls and how none of this is on Coughlin or Eli as long as you move on.
Eli honestly is what he is a guy who is way too careless with the ball highly inconsistent and lacks on the ho instincts...
we won with him and I wanted him to be more to be a sire fire hof'er but he isn't that stat collector guy.... Sadly
the other issue is in that endzone scenario we didn't have 1 receiver crossing along the back line of the endzone like every other team seems to have... Every one standing in the endzone what the fuck is expected to happen... That and 3 fades in a row, really?!?!?!?!?!
I'm upset with how we lost. What a fucking disaster of a team. This team is just one colossal disaster. From the front office to the coaches to the players. An absolute disaster.
Not so bright in my view. He has rings and the contract and continually forces the ball with bad decisions. A smarter guy would start taking coverage sacks more often and signal to the front office that your oline really fucking sucks bad..

same here..at this point. Just tired
any team gets at least one 1st down in that situation
or the o-line or something. You know what? We've got a bumbling QB who can't get out of his shadow. We should have won this game. Can't watch Manning play anymore.

The oline was bad, but many of the pressures were coverage - had plenty of time often and little time often.

LOL, yeah, fuck him and the two Super Bowls.
Maybe, put a supporting cast around him that can block and give him some WR's who a) finish their routes and b) catch the fucking ball.
Are not that good. Their lines are worse than in years past and they don't have a lethal offense. Borland though is the goods. Scary that next year they will have him Willis and Bowman all together.
Sign of the times: Stadium is still pretty empty with less than 15 minutes to go prior to kickoff.
Herzlich the designated game day captain.
Just ccheck this drive out by the 49ers. We have the worst fucking defense imaginable. But lets not blame Fewell.
Someone please get this man off of my team!
They're prepared. They just lack the ability to do it
You realize that was pure luck right?
combo or shit DC, below average LBs and lack of attitude.
Hate it.
On second thought, nobody pinch me, this feels like a damn good wet dream
Donnell can play at this level. He's a #2 TE in a top offense but a good role player and a serviceable #1 TE

am I the only one who puts the TV on mute when the Vikings-Bengals-Cowboys-Eagles-Steelers family commercial comes on?

that commercial truly is awful. I see what they are going for and i hate everything is represents. that 'family' just play FF; f*ck them.

Can't they at least put a Giants family member in that commercial?
No Giant would ever be part of such a dysfunctional family.
if williams runs that play is negative yards
2nd and 7 is better than 2nd and 11
Need a few more fumbles.
Nice sack by Kennard
Give them nothing else.
Yeah, if OBJ got face-guarded like that by Perrish Cox on the Niners we'd be screaming for a flag. 95% of the time that flag gets thrown even though face-guarding is not technically illegal
This is quite true - pretty blatant in the open field, too.
TB 10 - 0.
You like what you see from Fewell? We've given up 100 yards already in one quarter.
Take that back. Don't think there was a deflection on the RGIII pick.
they rush 3. Get all kinds of pressure on our QB.
Quote:
and McAdoo...why did it take them so long?

Here we go again with the fewell bashing
Let's see if Tom coughlin leaves points on the board this week
Without Aldon Smith who has yet to play
no matter who has been on our OL a 3 man rush ALWAYS gets to Eli... inevitable
Let's not ignore the real issue here:
Why do we always run the ball on first down.
But Jerry is "tough"!

Rush 3 and get to Eli, terrific!

Gilbride is still calling plays.
Kiwi embarrassed there.
Kaep can fake most if not all DL in the league, but Kiwi looked slow as shit.
congratafuckinglations
Need something on offense, but the same bad pass protection is again evident.
Maybe 8,000 total? Can't be that many more.

I think Bromley will be good, but right now Borland is contributing so much more, and we need LBs.
lol
Would rather that play be a shallow crossing route with Beckham dragging the LB across with him.
Borland made a nice play in coverage. If onlywe had the same.
It can be quite a challenge to develop a dummy.
2nd half will be vice versa.
Can't have a 3 and out.
what the fuck
you are not missing anything. other than the two long plays to Kenny Britt.
I wish the NYG game was on here.
Shitty Eli today
Bad Eli has returned.
Ruben Randle doesnt deserve to even wear a NFL uniform.
alert them and they will
That was Eli - he threw it after Randle had already turned up and he threw it directly to a 49er.
Also this is team is unwatchable. Forntwo years now. If ownership doesn't make total change why watch? Is this enjoyable for anyone. Shit football 90% of the time?
Total turd performance by the overpaid QB
Quad.
And now the D will fold. Here comes a 5 win season.
If SF was a half way decent team we would be getting our doors blown off
Eli makes a ton of poor decisions.

Bingo.
But stop making sense. Just easier to blame Eli. Eli started to throw before Randle made his cut, and whe nRandle ran something different he couldnt stop - hence why the ball came out funny.
I've said for years that they should turn off registration once the season begins .
Looks like he signed up today to troll.
Sounds almost eerily like tackling by the helmet
Ruben Randle doesnt deserve to even wear a NFL uniform.
That was Eli - he threw it well after randle had turned up.
If he and Manning can't get on the same page, how much worse can Washington, Ogletree, or anybody be?
Enough is enough, Manning should force him to take a seat.
Freakin Eli apologists...was it OBJ fault on that pick? Or how about the overthrow to RR on th slant?
Probably why he rarely gets into the game on D.

The first INT was absolutely on Eli, not tough to admit. But when we see ANOTHER INT because Randle isnt where Eli expects.... I think its pretty clear RR is just a complete idiot.
The Giants are about running the ball being physical and defense and they lack all of it.
Last three games before the half, the Giants could have done a better job with the clock.

How do you know it was the wrong route? Randle wasn't open and Cox was going to jump the route. For all we know that's what Eli saw.
Blamne Eli for hitting him in the hands.

History usually repeats itself.
damn..you are scary...hope I did nothing to offend you!
No question. That was horrific.
Or else what?
Figure Ill join in on the Eli bashing when things go wrong.
Jennings not going out of bounds there. Unreal
Like sensing a dam about to burst.
Was more of late than anything.
Somehow they went ten yards in 100 seconds
Look at the bright side. It's better than what we saw in Dallas.
Two bad decisions by Eli lead to picks. Receivers drop a bunch of good passes by Eli.
We are a bad football team.
But he has terrible players.
It's terrible to watch...

Then you dont understand football. Well we already knew that. Its a timing pass. REwatch where Eli's arm is when Randle cuts out.
Once you realize slants are timing patterns, you may understand the game some more.

How do you define coaching because... I don't see it. Other than making weird faces on the sidelines and yelling at officials. I really don't see what he does on the sidelines.
Eli is at fault on both picks.

When it's comes to X's and O's.. No better guy to listen to than Dep026.
Like to see them open second half with a touchdown.
Its not defending as much as enlightening ones who dont understand the game.
First pick - All on Eli
Second Pick - Randle not where his QB trusts him to be.
It only had about a dozen times last year and half a dozen times this year.
Eli is at fault on both picks.
Well you understand a slant is a timing play and the Qb expects the WR to be there? Its not like RR has ever ran the wrong route before?
I know that the Giants have had bad luck with injuries and it has hurt their draft picks but when you look at this team I just don't see anything. Either Reese and crew have done a terrible job or the coaches just can't develop players. Or maybe it is both. They luck like an expansion team being lead by a 2X Super Bowl champion.
But he has terrible players.
It's terrible to watch...
You know this how?
You can go fuck yourself as well. Bitch probably lives in his mommy's basement.
Go ahead and refute me on that or keep blaming Randle. Qbs have to make proper reads and not just guess.
Yes they will and they still won't have a clue as to why..its the curse of Madden Fottball

You are insufferable. Eli is having one of his finest seasons because so much is on his shoulders. But he isn't perfect and will make bad plays, especially when he has to make plays for them to compete. But you can't even admit when he makes bad plays.
Please stop with the Linval Joseph crap.. you guys need to stop acting like we lost some all world player....
I think its a miscommunication which seems to happen with Randle and Eli alot. I'd go with randle being at fault If I had to guess without knowing what the route was called for in that play
Randle had made his cut and was heavily covered by Cox who had position to jump the route (it's Randle he's not going to run away from a CB) before Eli threw the ball. My reading is that Eli saw the coverage and tried to clutch the ball but it got away from him.

Agreed. He was also playing next to Jerry, who is awful. But I think he's also regressed.
I guess I'll be told that I don't know anything about football, but without hurling insults, I still think both INTs were on Eli.
Anyway a great start to the half.
Probably when we didn't have 5 losers up front, 2 of which are back ups for the starting losers.
JR wants to go deep ;)
Pretty much how it goes with him. He's a loose cannon. I wouldn't argue with him. It's pointless.
Jerry and Brown have the collective IQ of a 2 year old.
That's a coaching problem if it ever was one.
You could be right.
And yes, he would be a huge help for this team that still thinks Patterson and Cullen are effective players.
You could be right.
Jerry and Brown have the collective IQ of a 2 year old.
My 2 year old doesn't like that comment
Why would you ever make changes at halftime? I thought sticking to the plan is how you win...
Both safeties suck
Yeah leading OBJ at the extent of his reach into a closing safety is "perfect." OBJ has no excuse not to catch it but perfect is only in your pathetic opinion.
And there it is. Wheels. Coming. Off.
yup.
Regrettably and almost unbelievably DRC was actually worse on that play.

While DRC allowed the completion with this soft zone coverage bullshit, Demps took a piss poor angle and gave up the touchdown. Demps was worse.
They must do something after this season or it will only get worse.
No the sad part is, even with this record, they are probably drafting 10th
Perfectly put.
Why
Why
No running game, but part of that is no passing game. Teams play closer to the LOS as a consequence. Add in a bad run blocking OL, and we go nowhere.

this team is soft.
Not allowed. EVER.
That's what I thought. But hey penalties seldom go Giants way.
why the fuck would you go for it? Down 9 in the 3rd quarter. Please stop your trolling bullshit.
Moore has been on the field. Bromley and Berhe are only special teams? Why? I don't know.
Because they need the TC discipline approach. Kiwi and Demps have it.
sucks
If it's not...blasphemy!

Was it RR? Hahaha then why I am not surprised. To me it looked like a slant which we have been throwing all game long. If it was RR it would make sense because the slants have been thrown to him successfully.
Just an odd play.
he did not have control of the ball. it was sitting on his forearm - but they'll overturn it.
not technically a turnover, is it?
How is that different than the Randle TD/no TD/INT?
Run on first down

It's just as well. PA needs time to develop, and this OL seems to be the worst I've ever seen.
Trying to run the PA would not go anywhere.
Think so. Bad throw by Eli. Forcing the issue again.
- BBI
Because he saw the double coverage on the route. WTF was the ball going?????
fucking cunt.
This is despicable and anyone to asserts otherwise is a moron.
The 2nd down run I suppose is understandable because they were in nickel. Competent teams should be able to run to the outside against that formation from a 2 TE set. But this team can't run, and the coaching staff would do well to get that into their heads. They've also gotten away from short passing.
he gives up on routes will not fight for the bal.
Should have seen the coverage and eaten the throw.
Isn't that what JR wanted?
Not deflecting blame, that's a terrible throw, but since JR's comment you don't see the short passes as much and Eli throws 4 picks, 3 on deep throws

Dep, I not debating you here. My only point is that Eli should have blown off the sideline and just ran a sneak. Trusted himself. I wouldn't blame him. He is the leader on the offense.
Yup here we go with the blame fewell narrative
That's a complete joke.
How is a failed 4th down or a challenge on the coaching?
The refs fucked up on that.
Quote:
did they not sneak it or hand it to Ryno? By waiting for Jennings it gave the Niner D time to penetrate! Garbage!
The FB run has consistently worked for us on short yardage. Our coaching staff is moronic.
We can all look to the injuries and dearth of talent but the coaching staff is certainly not above reproach and that's not just based on that last call on 4th and inches. Everyone on the sidelines in a coaching capacity has gone stupid on us as well.
4th and half an inch and we can't get it.
Glad Jennings is back. Yeah, that's our running game problem lol
Fire fewell.
Stop absolving coughlin from this mess. 6/7 years we've missed the playoffs
Too bad Brown and Jerry are so terrible.
I'd be more angry if I was a 49er fan (about this game) than if I was a resigned-to-their-fate Giants fan.
They're playing like ass and letting a Jaguars/Raiders-esque team hang around way too long.
QB has thrown three INTs.
No running game.
No passing game.
And yet we can still win.
Yes, we will.

yes, except Borland 's great play

Eli and Randle can not play together.
Agree that one 's on Brown . It's as if we had no one at RT
lol. Yep all On Eli. Nothing is ever Ruben Randle's fault... is it?
I've said it before, but I'll say it again: this guy legitimately does nothing well.
So maybe he should throw the ball away then? Poor decision.
every INT today is soley on Eli. Stop being stupid.

Peyton Manning would make sure Randle's ass sits the bench.
Peyton Manning would tell McAdoo to go fuck himself.
That is the difference betweeen Peyton and Eli.
Eli needs to speak up and get Randle benched
Right, all Randle's fault. I would feel better if you blamed the O line for allowing the pressure which could have rushed Eli's throw.
No, blame Brown for that one
Sums it up? Throw in shit offensive line play.
4 interceptions. A day the defense actually does its job...
Eli just doesn't give a fuck. Why would he on God's green earth ever throw Randle's direction again?

I said 3 INTs were passes thrown at RR's direction.
Eli just doesn't give a fuck. Why would he on God's green earth ever throw Randle's direction again?
Maybe because he has 86 receiving yards already this game?!
On the last one? He has no time to decide whether Randle is going to finish his slant or not. If he keeps running, it's in his chest for a first down.
Worst playcall I ever saw given how we ran it today.

You never have time to decide if the WR will finish the slant. A slant, by design is thrown to a spot you expect the WR to be in. It is a timing route.
We have 4 INTs today and at least two of them in scoring position. We are still in this game. Time to make a few plays IN A ROW.
Not a rule, but his not actually being an adequate NFL quality WR probably does.
Eli blows today, but JFC, the sooner RR is off this team, the better. I don't care if he's fucking Reese's daughter or not.
You are correct - A bunch of knuckleheads. Its Randle's fault - he put a uniform on.
Agree . Niners not going anywhere with that offense.
Or the runs. This team will do that to a guy.

No, they were in the backfield on a slow developing run. On the snap, it would be almost impossible for the sneak not to work. How often does a sneak fail to pick up a fucking inch.

He's not correct.
Manningham may have screwed up mentally occasionally, but on the whole, he was a solid NFL WR. He legitimately was better at everything an NFL WR could be better at (other than physical height, which Randle barely uses) than Randle.
Comparing the two is a massive insult to Mario.

I spin Reese's comments as meaning that RR was a finished product -- he was as good (or "good" in this case) as he was going to get from the get, which is closer to accurate than any other interpretation would be.
