This team loves to run on first downs EXCEPT when they are 5 yards from the endzone. I seriously don't understand any of the play calling.
Well the line couldn't get any room to run so it was that or

had so many runs for losses they couldn't change it.
You need better players on the Ol....then you have right to bitch at the calls....like I do.

Who is that? Seriously he has about 2 career catches and might develop. But right now he should be about the 20th option on offense

you sure as shit aren't going to do it inside the 10 yard line. They ran the fade because they have had good success with it and the chance of the QB getting sacked is small since the ball leaves the QBs hand quickly. Pass protection wasn't exactly a strong point with Pugh out of the game.

BTW - The only play in that series that wasn't a fade was intercepted...

When have they had success with it outside of the skins game to Donnel? I think Cruz got one the first game of the season - its a low percentage play if they want to try it on second down sure.

I'd rather see the Gilbride shotgun draw (even with this o line) then 3 garbage attempts at a jump ball
i would have preferred 1 run at least

no problem calling three. I'd prefer donnell and/or washington were the targets from the start, but the calls were completely fine
