If he played today against the S.F. the Giants would have won.
He has more heart, smarts, catching ability, running ability and a terrific blocker.
The person who let him walk should be fired.
Giants have now, with his bad feet he won a Super Bowl.
I rather have a good player (runner, pass catcher, blocker) than
some of the has beens and wannabe's that the Giants have on their team know.
he played a whole THREE games because of injuries to his feet and neck.. so should they have kept him around for ANOTHER year in the HOPE that he would get better..
but he just left this game with lower leg/ ankle problems. I hope he is ok. I hope he plays 10 more years. and i'll always root for him, but he is breaking down, and he is too much of a stud to not sacrifice his body. he can't be the #1 back anymore
His track record is so spotty I don't see how Mara does not see this. After all it was Mara's keen eyes who sensed the offense was broken, then forced Gilbride out, and has left us with this ahem, high powered juggernaut of an offense that throws two yard passes in the flat on third and long situations more then my stomach can take.
yes he's good, but you seem to be saying the one thing the giants need is more chronically injured players
