Charles Brown and John Jerry, RT/RG: combined -15.0 Breakdown: When Justin Pugh was forced out of the game due to a quad injury, the Giants inserted Brown at right tackle the 49ers attacked him and right guard John Jerry all day long. Between them they allowed 18 total pressures as the 49ers managed to get consistent pressure on Eli Manning. Signature Stat: Brown had the worst Pass Blocking Efficiency among offensive tackles who played at least 10 snaps (82.1). Jerry had the worst among guards, 86.2. |
And it only took one game. There are players that have been cut in season with a better PBE than that.
Next on that list btw is Matt McCants

How did RT Charles Brown play in place of Justin Pugh? "Not very well," Tom Coughlin said.
Hint: their backups are worse.
On the first down play after the onside kick, Jennings ran right while there was a hole large enough for a truck to run through on the left side. He obviously didn't see it and went ahead with the play to the right and got swallowed up.
Sorry about the multiple entry, computer acting up
Well, replacing him is the biggest priority this offseason, so yes, he has lost his edge. What do you know?!!!

The RG and C weren't a whole lot better last season.
I'm actually surprised JPP recorded the pressure needed to qualify for this stat...

People (BBI) hate on Diehl, but he was still better than Jerry.

LOL! But Eli is the reason we have sucked the past two season! THis site has turned into a joke.
Eli is playing behind the worst oline in the league since mid 2012. It is a miracle he hasn't been injured.

Pierre-Paul had the lowest Pass Rushing Productivity of any 4-3 Defensive End who recorded a pressure at 2.4

Let's add on to that...
Counting this past week's game, JPP is now ranked 30th of 38 4-3 defensive ends in pass rush production (sack, QB hit, QB hurry) in the NFL among those who have played at least 50% of the teams snaps this season.
Kiwaunka is ranked #33. What does that tell you?
DE against the run in the entire NFL.
and overall he's the #3 DE in the NFC after Ayers and Michael Bennett in Seattle, #6 in the NFL.

Don't dignify the Diehl haters by identifying them as capable of rational thought. They were (are) morons. As we all can see now, there were no replacements available to move him out so they played him until he had nothing left.

Yup. I think JPP is playing out of position and his ratings show it. He should be playing LDE, Ayers should be RDE and Kiwi should be benched. That would make for a much better and more efficient D-Line

You don't know...Eli is the problem.
Actually...Bold Ruler and I were just mocking the stupid posts talking about Eli being the problem. One by GiantNatty and the other by Sy'56.
