Anderson back to PS. Now instead of 3 inactive OL every week we can have 4 inactive OL every week.

makes me sad...

If Pugh Can't Go,

I think we see Schwartz at right tackle, Brewer active, and Brown inactive, or possibly released.
Waiving an LB:

Great idea; we have plenty of healthy and quality of those to dump a PS scrub.
Herz, Pays, Williams are so healthy and good.
McClain and Dennard are hangers on.
TC on chuck brown

For TC "not very well" is "putrid."
How can you not like Coach Coughlin . . .

after watching his presser? It's clear to me that he completely understands the issues - although he can't just come out and say "the OL sucks eggs". In my opinion he is still the same head coach who led the Giants to two unforgettable world championships. If he is let go, I'll bet there are various teams who would be salivating at the chance to snatch him up.
One of his more informative and focused pressers in awhile.

I think he knows that if our D plays as tough as it did yesterday, and we hang onto the ball, we can win 4-5 more.

the thing is, our D has not shown that they can play as tough as they did yesterday consistently. next week, especially without prince, i think there is going to be a big feast on our secondary.
He knows his job might depend on it.

7-9, 8-8. 12-15th pick in the draft. Mediocrity city.
Could
DaveW : 11/17/2014 10:04 pm : link
Bill Belicheck, Sean Payton, Mike McCarthy, John Fox, Pete Carroll do much better with this motley crew of players?

I doubt it.
The one thing that I think is dragging this team down
DaveW : 11/17/2014 10:25 pm : link
Is the blind loyalty to their players. If you're a rookie (even a good one), you won't see the field unless the starters ahead of you are injured. If you're a veteran (even if you're not real good), you practically have to die before they will pull you.

I'm all for a certain degree of loyalty, but too much is too much.

don't get waiving Andersen and keeping Brown. But then I don't get most personnel decisions this team makes.
Is Anderson going back to practice squad?
fbdad : 11/18/2014 10:17 am : link
Didn't know you had to waive a guy who just came off practice squad since any team can pick him up off the PS
"TC won't play rookies" is badly overused.
Blackbeard : 11/18/2014 1:37 pm : link
Most rookies don't play because they haven't learned what there is to learn about the Pro game.
TC has played rookies that were ready. He won't play rookies that not ready, and rightly so.
Give It A Rest!
