Ok, I have a few dilemmas.
1. Do I start Watkins because of the weather?
2. Start two of the three: McCoy, Jennings, Denard Robinson - mind you I am already starting OBJ.
3. And I really do need help with this. Do I start Ryan home versus Cleveland or Rivers home vs. St. Louis.
The reason why three is a struggle is because I am looking for the biggest boom potential. Something like 300 yards and 3-4 TDs. I need a big fantasy week and I have to take risks. Rivers seems a little banged up and playing against a defense than gave Peyton fits. But then Ryan has been inconsistent for about 6 weeks now, his OLine sucks, and his defense may have a hard time getting off the field.
I'd go McCoy and Robinson for your RB's.
It sounds like Jeremy Hill is the lead back in CIN even with Bernard coming back at least until Bernard is 100% again. I'm starting to wonder if I should start him again this week over Miller.
It has nothing to do with hating Rivers..... if I hated him, I wouldnt have drafted him and played him every week haha. But this is legitimately worry about his ribs. He looked really bad last week and had even less zip on the ball than usual. And even considering that, Ryan hasnt been good either. But I am hoping that now that they have the division lead, there might a sign they will play better.
I'm looking for some TE alternate options in case Julius Thomas can't go and Fleener is one I'm considering.
RE: Hill and Bernard....
My worst nightmare, the injury gave Hill a chance to showcase(against some of the worst defenses no less) and now they will split snaps a bit. I'd guess Bernard still gets more snaps, maybe 60/40 and Bernard is still extremely valuable because he will catch the ball and they will create opps for him. I'm not sure Hill will get more than 12-15 carries and possibly some goalline work.
Advice: Playcaller Hue Jackson isn't naming a Week 12 starter, which leaves the door open for Hill to take over as the Bengals' primary runner, even with Bernard all set to play against the Texans. "I think my concern is keeping him healthy,’ Jackson said of Bernard, who missed the last three games. Asked if Hill has earned a bigger role, Jackson replied "I think he deserves it. ... I think Jeremy has done a tremendous job and he earns the right to play, there's no question about that. But it's always good to have two really good runners." Expect Hill to lead the Bengals in carries against Houston, and possibly carry the bulk of the workload the rest of the way. In fantasy, he's a borderline RB1.
Need to start 3 of these 4:
Green (@HOU) - lock
Beckham (DAL)
Gordon (@ATL) - likely to be limited
Sanders (MIA) - coming off concussion
Non-PPR. Granted it's a moot point if Sanders can't go.
Actually as of now I have Rivers in. I am really torn about this decision.
And can I assume Foster will be good to go this week?
2. Denard Robinson - actually this kid can play, but Colts probably blow them out and will be embarrassed coming off Gray's performance
3. Matt Ryan - can this guy even be counted on in the Georgia Dome anymore?
I would use Sanchez personally because Chip loves to throw. Even last week when Sanchez had 4 TOs, he still put up good fantasy numbers.
I was starting Kapernick at QB and the rest of my roster is (10 team league):
RBs: Lynch, T Richardson, McFadden
WRs: Cobb, AJ Green, E Sanders, Beckham, Josh Gordon (can only start 3)
TE: Fleener
Not thrilled about giving up Jennings with my RB depth, but had a glut at WR and the improvement from CK to Luck is too much (Luck's scored 100+ more points to date).
Playoffs basically start this week.
Need 3 of these:
Foster
Ingram
Gore
CJ Anderson
Alshon Jeffrey
Mike Evans
Normally Foster would be a no brainer, but stupid O'Brien is saying he will probably split carries with Blue.
Pick 3. Non ppr
Julie Jones vs CLE
Emmanuel Sanders vs MIA
Alshon Jeffrey vs TB
Brandon Marshall vs TB
Josh Gordon @ ATL

Yeah I saw this too, but you need to be careful when they are quoting writers opinions. It's not like it's the coaches saying it. It's no different than before the season when all the writers were saying Hill is going to be splitting 50/50 and then Bernard ended up getting 90% of the snaps. Obviously things have changed because Bernard has been beaten up a lot and Hill has feasted off of garbage defenses, but Hill isn't taking over as the #1 guy. He will eat into Bernards production a bit, but not nearly as much as this dude is suggesting, IMO. I see Hill as a low end RB2/Flex play for now.

Excellent excellent trade.
Did I mention that it was an excellent trade for you?

But I saw this this morning which made me re-consider leaving Hill on my bench..

The writers opinion portion was mostly a throwaway for me, I was focusing more on Hue saying that Hill "earned" more of a role. And I do think it's different than what people said before the year because Hill was still an unknown quantity and Gio was 100%. Those things have both changed. Regardless of opposing D's, Hill has run for a buck fifty+ in 2 of his last 3 games and has basically thrived any time he's been called upon.
I don't think it's his job now but I do think it'll be much closer to 50/50 and I'd even be willing to bet that Hill gets a few more carries for right now until Gio looks healthy again. I could absolutely see a 55-60/45-40 type split off the bat and they'll probably ride the hot hand.
In fantasy terms, I agree Hill isn't going to be a legit RB1 now with Gio back, but I do think he could be a solid RB2 option.
Tough decision. I'd go Gray and Bell because they will be in the red zone more often.
And I hate to drop AP for one. Any one else I can drop?
12-team Standard league:
My 7-4 Team
I'd go Bell and Mason. Detroit's run D is stout, this seems like it's more of a Vereen week than a Gray week.

Why, AP won't play this year...
Giovani Bernard (hip) was upgraded to "full" in Thursday's practice.
According to ESPN's Coley Harvey, Bernard was "was back at No. 1 (duty) during open portion of practice." Bernard is perhaps fantasy's biggest wild card for Week 12, but it's beginning to appear as if he'll be returning to a workload resembling the one he was handling before going down. We still expect Jeremy Hill to maintain a bigger role on early downs, however. With the situation uncertain, both backs can be utilized as RB2s for Week 12.
I can't imagine they are going to keep the split how it was pre-injury as Bernard got 90% of the snaps. I do think Hill has earned more touches and will see the field more. I do however believe that Bernard is still the #1 guy in teh backfield and he will play more snaps than Hill. Time will tell though.
Should I roll with GB vs. MIN or IND vs. JAX?
I guess anyone who is playing the Jags is a good defense to use but the Packer D/ST is on fire right now and the Viking offense fucking blows too
Hopefully they play, I'd love to use the Bills defense against the shitty Jets.

Picked up Flacco for the hell of it and that's to go along with what I already have in Rivers and Stafford. As of today, I've got Rivers starting and have been riding him most of the way but have concerns over him being banged up, not performing particularly well of late and going up against what can be a pain in the ass D.
Stafford, I believe, will have difficulty with New England's D especially with Revis doing his thing. Don't think the weather will play much of a role but can't discount a dome team playing outside this time of year.
Considering starting Flacco against a less than average D in what could be a track meet not to mention the dome which has special meaning to him going back to the Super Bowl.
Sitting Fitzgerald in favor of John Brown along with Mike Evans, OBJ, J. Matthews. Just picked up Fleener today and dumped Witten. I know, curious time to let Witten go when he's lit us up like a Xmas tree but he hasn't gotten the usual targets.
Beerfridge above - maybe I'm the only one, but I think Ingram is a disaster this week. His YPC has stunk the last 3 weeks and he's now facing the #1 run defense in the league. I suppose he could punch one in, but IMO he's really wasted his opportunity the past month to become a feature back.
Personally I'm tempted to go with Mason over him based on opponents, but since every site has Ingram in their top 10, i guess i'll just roll with him one more week, but you cant help but be disappointed that he hasnt done more with what was a golden opportunity.
Never said it was a "no brainer" in fact I was asking for a good argument to start Jennings. I think we all know what a disaster the Giants OLine and run blocking has been not to mention Jennings has only been back one week. It's really less about the Dallas D and more an indictment of the Giants OLine.
He had a bad game against a decent run D in Cincy, and the whole offense sucked that day. Ingram has been great this year outside of the fluke hand injury.
I don't have a backup but there are plenty on waivers.. Clay Daniels
In any event it sounds like both Arian Foster and Julius Thomas are out. That is terrible for my team.
Who would you start at RB in place of Foster at Flex?
Denard Robinson vs IND
Ryan Mathews vs STL
Kenny Stills vs BAL
have Robinson in now
