A gunman was fatally shot after opening fire in a library on Florida State University's campus early Thursday, sending hundreds of students who'd been studying for final exams running for their lives and cowering behind bookshelves. Three students were found suffering gunshot wounds at the scene.

Police received a call about an "armed subject" at the Strozier Library on the school's main campus in Tallahassee at 12.30 a.m. ET. Officers confronted the gunman and ordered him to drop his weapon, according to Tallahassee Police spokesman Dave Northway. "The suspect did not comply with the commands and shot at the officers," he added. "They returned fire and the suspect was killed.”

I'm flying to Tallahassee on Tuesday to go to the Jaguars game with my friend who goes to FSU. Just heard about this and he hasn't responded to my text yet.

Damnit. This is a horrible situation, but that was funny.

A+

Yes horrible situation but worlds funnier than what RB2 produced. If you're going to go there... deliver... and Taggart did.
What the fuck is wrong with people?

Wasnt involved
The key thing to remember is that this has nothing to do with
BeerFridge : 11/20/2014 10:21 am : link
gun ownership.
Actually, it has something to do with gun ownership, but it also
Marty in Albany : 11/20/2014 10:55 am : link
has a lot to do with Florida allowing the unregistered purchase and sale of guns to pretty much anybody.
How do you know that already Marty?
MetsAreBack : 11/20/2014 11:02 am : link
And if this one's Florida's fault... what explains the shootings in Connecticut, California, Virginia multiple times, Arizona, Ohio, Colorado (school and/or movie theatres, take your pick) etc...... list goes on and on ?

But yeah, let's go ahead and make this political.
Mets. I already know it because a large majority of gun crimes
Marty in Albany : 11/20/2014 11:10 am : link
are committed with unregistered guns. Unlike NYS, Florida does not require gun registration, it is more likely that the gun was not registered and thus easier to obtain.

I'm not saying that it is Florida's fault that this shooting happened. It could have happened anywhere there are guns. I'm just saying that Florida's lack of regulations made it easier.
been in Strozier a few times

and was on campus yesterday.

Never stayed on campus past 7pm unless I had to.
The gunman was an FSU alumnus and a lawyer

I can't believe he was an alumnus....
Glad the POS was killed

Geez Marty, you probably want to include every state south of the Mason Dixon line and East of California.
