Yes, this team has played several stinkers this year. Many of the games have been at least partly stinky. But they have clicked at times and looked pretty darn good.
I think this is the game. The team has been really down in the luck department. Almost all loose balls, bad calls, and other fluky plays have gone against them. They're playing at home, playing for pride, and yes, I think they're due for some breaks.
The Giants win this one. Dallas makes a charge at the end to make it closer than it should be, but the Giants put them away at the end.
I agree because Fewell cannot plan his way out of a paper bag and Reese/Ross have put Eli behind the worst OL in the NFL
In Today's Reading (very kindly furnished by Defenderdawg) a Dallas sportswriter stated that the Giants cannot hold either edge on running plays. Cowboys OL must be thinking that they'll manhandle us and look for Murray to outperform Marshawn Lynch.
Don't get mad at the Cowboys or Jerrah- get mad at the real culprits: Reese and Ross, who should be ashamed of themselves.t
I don't know why but I do. We suck but I can see it happening. If you're going to mess up your draft position, this might as well be one of the remaining games that you win.
That's not a lot. I can't see how this Giants team could beat anyone right now. Fuckin' Eli will probably put the whole thing on his back again and start slinging the ball around. (I can't blame him, he's a warrior who HATES to lose.)
So, will our 2nd & 3rd stringers be able to keep the Cowboy's 1st string guys in check? I don't think so.
I hope that Coughlin will play more kids like Kennard, Nassib, Moore, Bromley, Behre, etc. Get these guys playing time and know what we have and who to cut.
historically, even when one of these teams has sucked, the game has been close. It's a nationally broadcast game, a team that's "supposed" to win vs. a team that supposedly doesn't have a shot, with Philly on their minds a few days later at home.
Dallas losing would not surprise me, not one little bit. Neither would us losing, of course.
Home division game; anything can happen. And I do think this is a trap game for Dallas who have Eagles at home on a short week/Thanksgiving. Contrary to what the players may say, I can see the Cowboys looking past the Giants much like KC did last night with the Raiders (although Andy Reid certainly gets an assist for last night's shitshow).
others have already mentioned...Redskins beat Dallas...Raiders beat Chiefs...Rams beat Broncos.
It could happen. That's why I watch. I may go to bed if they're behind by 35 in the third quarter, but I will watch hoping that one of those upsets happen.
This Giants team NEVER beats good football teams anymore. They haven't done it yet this year, they didn't do it last year and they really haven't done it since the GB and SF games in 2012. It has been a long time. Every win we rack up is against bad teams, teams with backup QB', etc.. we literally never beat legitimately good football teams and I don't expect that to change tomorrow night.
Still, anything can happen.. I just fully expect that we will hang in for the first half or so and then get run out of the stadium down the stretch.
They just need to play four quarters of blunder-free football. They led the Seahawks at the half in Seattle and were just four goal-to-goal passes from taking the lead on the Niners late in the 4th quarter. They don't suck. They're just not good enough to overcome multiple mistakes.
hahaha
Sure, they may have to play the perfect out of their mind game but I always think they will win.

*If Tony Romo leaves in the 1st quarter with a back re-injury

OR, if he has one of those brain fart games he's good for 2 or 3 times per season.
The soft defense that likely caught lightning in a bottle last week and will likely get shredded this week to think about.
The disaster waiting to happen special teams I think could be a factor.
I say yes the Giants pull it out.

And it will cost us a few spots in the draft next year.
SHOCK THE WORLD
The teams know each other too well.
Never!

with veterans in the OLine, Jennings 2nd week back, might stabilize OL and run game. And Cowboys do not have a dominant DL.
Dez will get his catches and yards. Dez is who you scares you on their offense. If they can do a respectable job against Murray, they have a shot.
