Seriously, if the zombie apocalypse or a nuclear apocalypse happen, I want to be right next to Brewer, because him still being on the roster means he can survive ANYTHING.
I still say Schwartz Brewer at RG and RT is better than Jerry Schwartz.
I wish Brown the best of luck, but he was just awful.
He was a second round pick IIRC. Reese probably thought a change of scenery might bring out the talent that justified him being selected that high. He also had a few decent games for NO before melting down at the end of last season I think. But in the end he was just another failed reclamation project.
He was just awful last week. What was also interesting to note was just how much worse Jerry looked (which I did not think was possible) once Brown entered the game.
I'd make Schwartz play RT if Pugh is hurt and try out Eric Herman at LG.
The Giants MUST make a decision about players who have been with the team 2 years. Mosley, Herman, Brewer (3+ years). Either they are good enough to play or fucking cut 'em and get new bodies next year. WTH? Why is this so hard?
As soon as Reese takes a vacation, I'd shit can Adrien Robinson too.

There is a slight resemblance between T-Dog from the Walking Dead and Brewer..
He was a second rounder in 2010. Still fairly young. Comes from the USC program. I could see why they rolled the dice.
That's what Reese does. He likes those higher draft picks, and tries to see how much talent we can squeeze. Below are the guys that are 1st or 2nd rounders. Some did well, others okay, and a bunch didn't help . it seems like he likes that draft pick 1st and 2nd round, and tries to see if we can get something from them.
Andrews
Locklear
Rivers 1st round.. pick 8 or 10.

morning. It was a bad signing from the get go. Brewer can't play tackle but maybe guard. Whatever happened to Mosley? He seemed to be solid player at Auburn.
signed CB to make Brewer look good.
TC threw Brewer under the bus by using Brown(I know different positions but he still could have rotated players so Brewer got in).
Then TC throws Brown under the bus then cuts him.
There may be some discontent in the Giants family.
because of the preseason injury to Schwartz and the uncertainty surrounding Beatty and Jerry's recovery. Despite Brown's terrible performance, he had shown more in his NFL career than Brewer. I can't blame the coaches for holding onto him this long. He were they going to keep over him?

Emil, I concur. Brown was the LAST guy the Giants wanted to see out there but alas the moment came and well he outright sucked. If Pugh had not been hurt who is to say we don't win? Freaking shame Brown was so bad that not even a HS team would likely start him!
only 1 of the 4 san Francisco defensive linemen doesn't make it back to manning in less than 2 seconds and that's only because he is double teamed by Walton and Jerry

abysmal
Not as bad as it looks. Charles Brown sucked and got the play blown up. If not for that, there's space for Eli to step up there.

Yeah, we can make room for some new dead wood, lol

Sure why not. Let's take a look...
it was after seeing that play that I wondered how in hell could the coaches keep this guy around?

Brown still on roster, Anderson waived - ( New Window )
Sad
Just another example of our team having one of the worst O-lines, weakest bench and poor judgment of talent...
all wrapped up in just one guy.
