Here's a thread for us....big game in the garden tonight....love the moves that Bergevin has made...we have three lines that can score...and Weise and Manny are quality 4th liners...went to the Bruins game last night...they are dark this year...not the same team without Boychuk and Igilna, and Thorton...they are banged up...
But just not the same team....we have Dusty in the pipes tonight...let's play a strong road game and beat the blue shirts ....Go Habs Go

I think Price has had a handful of bad games, but has really grown into a upper echelon goalie. Completely capable of stealing a game or even a series (like the Bruins series last year).
The D is solid, but not spectacular, and the forwards are opportunistic, but not special.
No real stars on the team and if nothing else that probably helps with chemistry, but also hurts in some situations - like the power play.
Most underrated player - Andrei Markov. I hated him because he was always injured and they were paying hm a lot, but now that he's healthy, even at his age he's clearly a top 4 blueliner and the best on the team IMO - better than Subban.
Oh, and I wouldn't nail the coffin shut on the Bruins yet. They're playing without three regular defensemen (including Chara and McQuaid) as well as Krejci and Marchand.
Thought PJ was a Brooklyn fan... Ah
Amateur...
As a boy I grew up in CT and listened to WNBC calls of the great Rangers teams of the early 70s - the Eddie Giocomin, Rod GIlbert days. But we then moved to Burlington VT and got Hockey Night in Canada on television and I was dazzled by the production and spectacle and the dominant Habs teams of the day with Lafleur, Robinson, etc. They were great to watch. So it happens.
But after I left for college I returned to my first hockey love: college hockey and still enjoy it to this day. I don't follow any NHL teams strongly during the season but playoff hockey is still fantastic.
To this day I will argue that Danny Gallivan and Dick Irvin were the best sports broadcast booth ever.
Finally love Carey Price. It has taken him some time, but he has evolved into a great net minder, the one we all imagined when selected number five.
Get the power play back to last year, appease the injury gods and this team will have a good spring!
Last night, we took advantage of you being on the second of back to backs, but your style seemed a lot different than it normally does. Did the Rangers play that well/you that poorly, or is it a strategic shift with your backup in?
BTW, even though Tokarski wasn't good last night, he looked better positionally than he did back in May. He flopped around quite a bit back then.
geez what an a-hole
