Been a long time since we were humiliated on national TV by Dallas.
Reese, why did you get rid of almost all of the good players on the 2011 and 2012 teams and try to replace them with fourth round draft picks and bargain free agents signed to one year contracts.
If we had Joseph, Tuck, and Hill, do you think we would be last in run defense?
Was it worth "overpaying" a DT still young in exchange for not being last against the run? Sometimes you have to overpay.
embarrassing performance, especially on national television, will be another proverbial nail in the coffin for Coughlin, and should be for Reese as well.
He was doing his job which resulted in an incomplete pass. Some of you need to get a grip, the dallas OL is one of the best in the league in run blocking, and are destroying people in the run game. Stopping the cowboys is not easy, especially when this defense has stopped no one all year. Perspective people.

Exactly why he has to catch that. That was about as easy as they come.
with JPP is lack of pass rush. He's been very good against the run. We also get nothing from Kiwi. Ayers should start, but then we've been saying from the beginning of the season.

wtf are you talking about? the ball went through his hands...so instead of 0 points, we just gave them 3.
Run every first down when we are pass blocking well. If Coughlin goes I hope that the new coach wants his own OC. I know the Giants will not do this because we just changed to a "new" system. It doesn't work. Eli looks great ongiht. let him wing it.
Tonight we get to see first hand

the stupidity of Jerry Reese. Zack Martin will be playing long after OBJ is a distant memory. Think Hakeem Nicks but worse. To small and frail. He's good but will never survive the NFL. The empty suit had no right to draft a skill position when his QB and running game has no chance. Can we please get someone in charge that understands the game?
see you just proved what i said. I never said it was better, the point was the defense got a stop on a very good offense, something they haven't been doing all year. The defense is playing well so far tonight, something you fail to see.
One Thanksgiving, my father threw a dinner roll to me over my head...i leaned back in my chair and caught it with one hand too. My sister also interfered with me.... That roll had fucking butter on it too !

ok, whatever...if you don't get it by now, you never will...especially, after 3 guys disagreed with your initial statement.
we could be losing at half time. Defense is absolutely the worst I have seen in forever. It is rare that we stop the opponent. they typically stop themselves with mistakes
Not sure at this point. While they've tended to sit DT's for most of their rookie seasons (with decent success to be fair) they're normally getting some snaps by this point in their rookie season.
Hankins sat until week 5 (Joseph got injured) then sat the next two games until Rogers went on IR.
What kills us is to then get stuffed or have negative yardage as a follow up to a nice run like that. Those are drive killers because Eli is not going to convert every third and long.
it is the right call. I cannot believe anyone would blame the refs for that.
If we lose this ball, it would just be typical of this fucking team. You have a chance to actually win a game vs a team with a winning record for a change (and a division opponent) and you have a guy putting the ball on the ground near the goal line.
Wondering if the whistle blew for forward progress
by the way instant replay is supposed to work. There was absolutely no undisputable evidence that the ball was coming out before any part of Williams hit the ground.
. We're still not executing blocks very well. Other than Walton I'm not seeing guys getting blown back, it looks more like mental mistakes or mistiming.
cant teach guys to stay with their men on punts quinn....
yeah i am wondering when was the last time we actually blocked the gunners? Seems like the guy runs free and we are chasing him from behind....every time
Gee Whiz look what happens when you get a semblance
on punt or kickoff returns. He's just too valuable to our Offense to risk him.
normally, I'd disagree...we need our playmakers to get every touch they can...but yeah...he is way to valuable to get hurt by a careless ST guy trying to make a name for himself...this, plus Quinn's blocking scheme is a recipe for disaster.
For a change. Don't agree about the whistle: the pile was still moving forward. Do agree with the review. No conclusive basis for reversing the call on the field: couldn't see if his knee was down. The O is on tonight (with Schwartz and Snyder making a huge difference and Beckham inspiring even the unflappable Eli) and has to be since the D is still slow and ineffective.

yeah its unreal.... never able to block gunners, just terrible
have much on that pass - barely went 45 yards and a duck at that.
Saw that. His back not surprisingly is hurting him. Wonder how many shots he has to get before the game to deal with all the shots he gets in the game. He's a tough guy.
Did it look like the Dallas DB got a hand on Odell's face mask? Just wondering because that play was quick and a face mask would have meant one more untimed down and a FG chance
A whole lot of stupid there in the last few minutes
Your assuming they could get it called. The clock stopped immediately when the ball hit the ground. If he was sacked more time comes off and only 5 seconds was left as it is.

Coughlin went right up to the ref before the play and told him he's calling a TO after the play is over. Are you watching the same game as i am?
the OL is better, but remember that they were coming from a very bad place. Still, any improvement is welcome.
The Cowboys should just do what everyone else does: double Beckham and clog the line to shut down the run and pressure Eli. Live with whatever damage anyone else causes.
I think Eli has had plenty of time besides the end of the half. He has time to go through progressions. The OL has held up as the Giants have had quite a few third and longs and completed them. Eli was running for his life last week, and most of the season.
of most of our games this season. Seems like the opposing team has made better use of the time in the locker room to make adjustments. You can expect the following...
1. Cowboys are going to do something to stop OBJ.
2. They will blitz the shit out of us. If I was their DC, I would just run blitz on most plays. If it is a pass...just keep coming until you hit Eli.
The Giants should expect to get heavy pressure on Eli and counter that with more screens and WR reverses.
This giants team just isn't a good football team, Dallas will make plays on both sides of the ball. Let's just hope the Giants can pull it out. We couldn't ask for a better start tonight.

How could a team with clearly the best player on the field not be a good football team? I understand the Giants have problems, but so do the Cowboys. The Cowboys have just been much luckier with injuries this season than the Giants.

And if Scwhartz and Jennings were healthy, along with the DB's, I don't think you would be saying that
We can't rely on our freakin D to win this half! Offense will play conservative until they have to IMO. That's how TC will play it. Dallas will not go away!
Right, and we have a GM who cannot be trusted anymore. This is why I laugh when I see some of the comments lately that indicate we are a draft pick or two away.
He cannot be this horrible if we want a chance to win. The lack of accuracy shows its ugly head again on the last two plays. That could be the game there. Remember those 7 points on the OBJ overthrow.
Is I am so glad I don't actually have to watch the game with a bunch of you guys. One thing doesn't go your way and your wine and bitch like children. Get ahold of yourself. Giants need a win here, time to actually root for your team instead of just complain about them.
I think Eli expected parker to be moving deeper towrds the end zone
good pass to get it close. QB's do not throw it perfect every time. Eli's still hitting over 69% in the game, so you can not say he isn't accurate over all.
but I think he's overpaid, and if we pay him like a top-5 QB on his next contract we're making a mistake.
Pay him in-line with his production, use the money saved to build around him, and we'll be awesome again.
This is severely overrating this team's ability to spend money/evaluate talent in other areas. Look at how much of their cap space they spent on defense relative to the rest of the NFL and how little bang for their buck they got back from 2009 through 2012, outside of a glorious 6 game hot streak.
In all likelihood, they aren't any good the next few years (at least) regardless of what they are or aren't paying Manning.
The Giant players could have 10 minutes with the vermin on this thread who cut them up continuously. Just 10 minutes. You are fucking garbage. Every last one of you. You don't have a fucking clue as to what it means to be a fan and support a team and it's players. You are worthless.

even if parker was 5 yards farther down field... if Eli could hve thrown even a half decent ball whether parker was where he was, 5 yards closer or 5 yarrds farther it would be catchable in all 3 areas.
he just fucking misses easy ass throws way too much. its maddening.
But Dez doesn't impress me. Most of his big plays seem to come when he's wide open on defensive miscues, more than his skill at getting open. He's also a total headcase.

Eli seemed pretty frustrated at Parker after the int.

I'm wondering if he was expecting him to run a post route instead of continuing his cross. If Parker goes straight up the field the pass is on target.
Man was Beckham wide open there. What a shame Eli was looking the other way and couldn't set his feet when he did see him.
Breathing in, breathing out, hoping that the Giants drive again and convert for points. I think Dallas will RUN and RUN some more this fourth quarter on a tiring defense.
RE: Eli did see him, but as Collingsworth said he probably didn't think he
Cant throw it to them if he cant see them..... he was forced to his right.
He looked his way and then he checked down. He flat out missed him, there's simply no excusing it.
BEcause by the time he saw them, he would have gotten blasted to the ground. Not everything is hjis fault. The INT, yes. Watch how he threw the checkdown. Offf his back foot.
In Madden you can see the whole field. When EA introduced the vision cone, people hated it because even if the quarterback couldn't see the whole field, they could, and screw it if there's a wide open receiver on the left but the quarterback is looking right.
RE: can't wait for dep, britt and the Eli defense team
that was clear last week and it's clear this week. OBJ doesn't need to make great catches if these balls are thrown better. Eli can be great, but he's inconsistent - he can also be really bad.
bitches when he throws it deep off his back foot.... but when he doesnt, they still bitch. True intelligence of BBI.
It won't kill you to admit he's playing poorly right now.
The INT yes. The check down to Jennings was absolutely the smart move. I guess everyone is going to ignore he had to step to the right to ignore the rush.
Double Beckham.
Load up to stop the run and pressure Eli behind a poor OL.
Live with whatever damage anyone else does.
Wait for a bad play or two from Eli.
For all Beckham's skill he should have had the 1st down
I really can't believe some people making an excuse for Eli missing a wide open receiver by that much on a not very deep throw. Not are INT's are a QB's fault, but if Tony Romo made that exact same throw, would anybody on here be saying that it was the WR's fault? Of course not.
No but it's his fault for missing a easy pass to a completely wide open receiver with a shitty high throw which ended up picked. It's essentially an unforgivable mistake at this level, and a backbreaker in terms of the game.

If that's not his fucking fault then what the fuck is? You couldn't get a receiver more open in the middle of the field.
It's been the MO of this team for awhile now - play one decent half, then play like shit. I don't know what the fuck is going on in the locker room at halftime, but unless someone is giving these guys downers, it's inexplicable.

It wasnt OBJ's fault for not turning it up to get a first down? A first down that would have extedned the drive? Ok.... thanks for playing.
Yeah, I don't get that either. It's not about whether TC "is a good coach." It's a performance business. The team isn't performing. Didn't perform last year, either. Has missed the playoffs more often than not.
Expectations are higher for him - and he's fucking disappointing this season, no two ways about it.
And given one game, where the rest of the team seems to play over it's head a bit, and an easy throw to give them a TD and some cushion, he turns it over on a missed pass to a WIDE OPEN RECEIVER.
Stop making excuses for the guy. He's good. He's very good at times, but erratic. Too inconsistent and getting older, he's not someone who should be getting another huge contract from us.

of bounds on OBJ. He flopped a bit, but he was hit out of bounds. Without that, it's first down on the 14 and Eli never throws that pass. That INT killed us. And now Beckham's goes down. This season can't end soon enough.

No with you, Eli is never at fauly for anything. Unless your name is Romo, you simply cannot miss a guy open by ten yards that would have been a TD. Even if he under throws it, It was 1st and goal at the 5.
So Eli threw 1 Int; he's also hitting over 73% of his passes

That was an extremely shitty call, but that's not the turning point. Eli missing a wide open guy to widen our lead and throwing an INT returned to midfield basically fucked us.

YEs, if you bothered to read my original post you would have seen that I blamed OBJ for not taking it up field. My FOLLOW UP post was to say that we would not have been in that mess if we were not looking at 3rd and 12. The true nature of that situation was due to the 5 yard penalty AND our run getting stuffed on 2nd down.
and we have the ball across mid field. We control the outcome. Time for this team to make a few plays and get a win. NO fucking excuses. I don't want to hear about a bad call or a non call. Make a few plays and put this game away.
27/36 (75%), 3 TDs, 1 int, 329 yds passing (4th so far this week)
Yup. But ten years from now the same idiots who incessantly bash him will be telling everyone who will listen how they rooted for Eli in the good old days.
should be in to at least try and generate pass rush pressure. Same for Moore. We're getting nothing from JPP and Kiwi. NASCAR defense, and play all your DBs.
Brees has had a couple of stinker, so has Big Ben and Rivers. Put aside Brady and Rogers. You just watch Eli every week, if you watched these other guys they would be even worse. I think Brees blew 2 games this year with late game picks.
His line is as good as anyone is going to get at the QB position tonight.

There's a minute left on the clock. Maybe for the best bit at this point this game was a big screw up. Now Mara and Tisch will believe no changes need to be made
He's not effective at re, why didn't they put him in the middle of the left end to see if he had a better matchup
because they are fucking mindless assholes... why try anything other than stick round pegs in square holes and think that if they keep doing the same old dog shit it will eventually work.
are going to be fired for this debacle. No question. Not during the season of course, but it will happen. More than anything the Giants are known for defense. Now we're known for not having any.
We need the best possible draft position. As far as I'm concerned, knowing Beckham is the real deal is all we could really hope for this year and it's been more than confirmed. Time for more stud players to be drafted
week again, instead of how shitty this defense truly is.
You do realize that his last one cost at least 3 pts and probably 7 pt, right.
Eli won't have time to throw anyway.
I'm not excusing his INT, it was brutal and all on him, but anyone who watched this game and came away with him being the reason they lost this game is a moron... yet, I guarantee, he's what 90% of the coverage/talk will be about.

lol, you are a moron. He really had a chance to step into his throw eh?
Forget Jennings drop on first down or forget the fact he couldnt run a pattern that went 2 yards. Its Eli's fault because our OG got destroyed and Eli had less tha na second to throw.
I ask myself the same question. I knew coming in they would likely lose, and probably just like this, and yet somehow managed to waste time and get aggravated watching anyway.
Season's in the shitter, and there's really very little about this team that's promising to watch for the future. Outside of Beckham, there's really no other compelling reason to turn in for shit like this.
RE: The Cowboys defense is a bunch of fucking waiver wire rejects
they don't have to wilt like a flower every time Eli fucks up. Fact is, if they were a good defense, they had the lead to protect with 3 mins left, and Romo had enough time to write his fucking biography in the pocket.
But characteristic collapse. Credit? Not for this management, these coaches, or these players (excepting only Beckham). Eli played very badly second half no matter how good he was in the first. Hard to explain. (Can't take hits any more, gets gun-shy, doesn't trust his line or his receivers, not able to move much at all any more, can't think fast enough? Who knows?) Anyway, this train ride is over.
You're not getting the point. There was no need to do a booth review. The refs called it a first down. Spot the ball at the marker and get the next play off. To me, Garrett was pining for a review.
Please shut down Odell for the rest of the season. I don't want to see his career get ruined by injuries. Wins over the Rams, Jags, Skins and Titans aren't pivotal so why waste his talent...Id just be watching those games in utter fear.
I certainly hope that Foolish watch the Eagles destroy Dallas nd Romo, No dancing by their front four. They rushed Romo the ENTIRE game no dancing.

The empty suit had no right to draft a skill position when his QB and running game has no chance. Can we please get someone in charge that understands the game?
Makes it that much more important to get on Oline that can pass protect and set up the PA. Eli with time + OB is going to light shit up.
#Internotsostellar
Paysinger to his defense, doesnt know who he is.
ok, whatever...if you don't get it by now, you never will...especially, after 3 guys disagreed with your initial statement.
Fucking lets go O!
This defense is going to get carved up in the 2nd half.
Please fire this fucking bum already. Enough with the excuses for him.
They just did - Hosley ran right past Dunbar.
Man these guys can't cover backs and TE's....
Tough life. its good to be the King
That's one perspective.
Living the dream.
Let's go Eli!
Can't play the run?!
^Winner.
Not sure at this point. While they've tended to sit DT's for most of their rookie seasons (with decent success to be fair) they're normally getting some snaps by this point in their rookie season.
Hankins sat until week 5 (Joseph got injured) then sat the next two games until Rogers went on IR.
Quote:
doesn't Bromley get any snaps?
Can't play the run?!
They won't even let Moore play. And you expect Bromley to?
Pass pro yes. Run blocking nope!
Make no mistake, we're watching the Odel Beckham Jr Show
What kills us is to then get stuffed or have negative yardage as a follow up to a nice run like that. Those are drive killers because Eli is not going to convert every third and long.
1981....
Haha settle down spank, it was one run. Lets see a few more of them.
Lol. Nice. I do think his vision will only get better. And who's this Schwartz guy?
Credit for a guy having one good half this whole season? Seems premature.
spot yhe fucking ball
Yup.
but i do not think the ball qas spotted
dallas is goingto get it fucking sucks.
Jennings is hhurt?
that's what I thought
Refs wouldn't spot it
Agree! Is Jennings gassed or hurt? I don't understand the substitutions?!
Dude, despite the fact that was a fumble, Williams is haing a decent game and plays well when he has a little bit of room from the line.
Anyway, you can see the ball out, but can't see who recovered it or where exactly it came out. Nothing concluve
Officials were stalling the Giants from running a play, allowing the Cowboys to challenge.
If we lose this ball, it would just be typical of this fucking team. You have a chance to actually win a game vs a team with a winning record for a change (and a division opponent) and you have a guy putting the ball on the ground near the goal line.
They're saying the ruling on the field was down by contact.
Play stands
This. That was incredible bullshit regardless of what the call actually ends up being.
Hey Fewell, how about a fucking stop here?
I also think he looks pretty good.
they still not calling all the cheap shit holds and grabs by Dallas tho
For chrissakes, he was just in. I'm sure they are managing his knee.
Dallas D is bad and we all knew that
Williams fumbles = gets it right back on the next play.
hmmm...
and where did Kiwi go to college? Herzlich?
Hey Fewell, how about a fucking stop here?
The offense has to win this one IMO.
Defense is still bending.
yeah saw that plain as day and still
#thatsacleanuni
Ah, okay, yeah....
Reminds me of when I go through airport security every week
yeah i am wondering when was the last time we actually blocked the gunners? Seems like the guy runs free and we are chasing him from behind....every time
They need to build these lines esp OL
Bingo!
normally, I'd disagree...we need our playmakers to get every touch they can...but yeah...he is way to valuable to get hurt by a careless ST guy trying to make a name for himself...this, plus Quinn's blocking scheme is a recipe for disaster.
Quote:
cant teach guys to stay with their men on punts quinn....

yeah its unreal.... never able to block gunners, just terrible
If they don't get the 1stt////
Saw that. His back not surprisingly is hurting him. Wonder how many shots he has to get before the game to deal with all the shots he gets in the game. He's a tough guy.
o ok nail in coffin chance and we turn back into fucking pumpkins
Yep. Beaten like a drum.
So awful.
Yeah this was a fucking disaster. They have a chance to get points now.
...and the punt returner splits both Giants.
now I wish they did run a shotgun handoff.
Been a bit of a theme this year.
WE NEED TO TAKE AN OUTSIDE POSITION ON ALL OF THE WR'S !!!
That rush was in slow motion.
Two stupid timeouts when we had plenty of time.
When Al and Chris make fun of the call....
whyvyyyyyy
No bitching, now. No one expected this.
Eli something like 15/16
And I'm so glad we didn't do the hail mary, lets give Eli a stupid INT play at the end of the half.
Chance of getting blocked I suppose.

Geezus do you ever say anything positive? 21-10 at half and probably have more yards than the previous game.
You have to be completely obtuse if you don't think the line is better so far. It's not the Patriot's Line, but it is better than the last 5 weeks.

Your assuming they could get it called. The clock stopped immediately when the ball hit the ground. If he was sacked more time comes off and only 5 seconds was left as it is.

Coughlin went right up to the ref before the play and told him he's calling a TO after the play is over. Are you watching the same game as i am?
Or if the kick is short, getting it returned (think Hester or the Alabama-Auburn play)
Harrison just said it was luck. What a butthurt little bitch.
most times i would agree, their season is toast. this is the Super Bowl for them. keep attacking
The Cowboys should just do what everyone else does: double Beckham and clog the line to shut down the run and pressure Eli. Live with whatever damage anyone else causes.
Enjoy it
He's lost a yard or two of pace and knows it. He's guessing to try and compensate.
Thank Goodness!
in a good way...music is so trash though...eyecandy
lot of pressure up the middle. Beatty always struggles when that happens (most tackles do) but Beatty doesn't tend to sustain blocks very long
And I'll bet someone blames him for that weather he does or not.
Yes, that was quite well done.
Probably! Won't push it.
How could a team with clearly the best player on the field not be a good football team? I understand the Giants have problems, but so do the Cowboys. The Cowboys have just been much luckier with injuries this season than the Giants.
Never mind. There he is.
21 points is going to win this game.

This giants team just isn't a good football team, Dallas will make plays on both sides of the ball. Let's just hope the Giants can pull it out. We couldn't ask for a better start tonight.

And if Scwhartz and Jennings were healthy, along with the DB's, I don't think you would be saying that
THEY KNOW THEY'RE GOING TO RUN
God, their special teams suck.
HEY DUMBASS, THE WHOLE FUCKING COUNTRY KNOWS YOU'RE GOING TO RUN ON FIRST DOWN
Godawful playcalling
Run
Run
Pass
90% of the time
Won't even play action
We can't rely on our freakin D to win this half! Offense will play conservative until they have to IMO. That's how TC will play it. Dallas will not go away!
You know, that is not an unfathomable premise.
Looks like role reversals now in the second half.
And there goes our defense.
Nice blitz idea. Have your LB run and hit the OL.
That was some weak shit for sure.
Yup, nice way to trot, wasn't it?
Ok people, who's callign a run on first down?
I sure do.
Run
Pass
Ok people, who's callign a run on first down?
And second down
Sadly no matter how we feel about the coaching staff ownership will bring back TC next year.
The only time they didn't was the OBJ TD
Right, and we have a GM who cannot be trusted anymore. This is why I laugh when I see some of the comments lately that indicate we are a draft pick or two away.
RUn
Pass
This is fucking asinine.
a
screen.
Just can't.
run, run, screen, run, run, run.
Nice run by Fells after the catch.
Great effort by fells
It was a roll out...
He looked at the play book
Stop rolling 10 out please. It's hard to watch!! He's a pocket passer
Keep making excuses for this guy
Brutal pass
And the fucking cunt is here.
Because he threw it a good foot too high.
Who else should be blamed? Parker for not being 6 foot 10?
fucking terrible. and he missed ODB on the prior throw.
guy just isn't great, too many ez misses and zero mobility.
he is what he is
No Eli finds away to blow games
Yes if he had two hands, one on top of the other, he might have caught it ;
Yeah, but receivers aren't 7 feet tall.
Pay him in-line with his production, use the money saved to build around him, and we'll be awesome again.
Now on defense, the pitch to Murray and we do not even TOUCH him until after 15 yards
The New York Giants are not supposed to play puss defense.
Hold Dallas to a FG attempt, please.
He's hitting a higher % than Romo
Pay him in-line with his production, use the money saved to build around him, and we'll be awesome again.
This is severely overrating this team's ability to spend money/evaluate talent in other areas. Look at how much of their cap space they spent on defense relative to the rest of the NFL and how little bang for their buck they got back from 2009 through 2012, outside of a glorious 6 game hot streak.
In all likelihood, they aren't any good the next few years (at least) regardless of what they are or aren't paying Manning.
LOL...
Better off, the draft pick positioning will be more useful than a pointless victory in this wasted season.
Difference in this game? One qb hits his wide open receiver, the other doesn't...
You're wrong
The Giants don't "need" a win.
he just fucking misses easy ass throws way too much. its maddening.
hes a guy. an above avg qb thats it
Also feels like our last game against Dallas too. We were so freakin close!
Eli deserves to catch shit for the INT, but the coaching hasn't exactly been good tonight, from clock management on down.
You don't know that
Yes, he must go but we cannot have the $20mm man fucking up so much. Fucking Tannehill is outplaying Eli this year.
Yeah he should have known to put the step ladder down and climb up it.
They don't have to steal it. It's being gift-wrapped for them.
Please stop it. Did you see the view from the end zone. He barely got a finger on it. And it was behind ..
Dallas has all the momentum now. We're done!
Watch 2 runs and short pass 3 and out coming.
Haven't heard anything from RR since his one deep in.
And there is starting to be alot he can't do (run, throw screens).

Shouldn't fire coughlin because who would do a better job than being 3-7 staring at 3-8 . . .

Cant throw it to them if he cant see them..... he was forced to his right.
they are all mad at parker... 5 yards deeper wouldn't have mattered... it would still have been high and shitty either way.
a fucking dogshit throw he has only to blame himself.
Oh cut the sanctimony. This team is garbage.

Eli had two guys opened to his left, but since he get rushed he, had to step to his RIGHT and couldnt see the 2 guys open.
You guy are fucking brutal.

I'm wondering if he was expecting him to run a post route instead of continuing his cross. If Parker goes straight up the field the pass is on target.
It is well over thrown!
Breathing in, breathing out, hoping that the Giants drive again and convert for points. I think Dallas will RUN and RUN some more this fourth quarter on a tiring defense.
DVR is your friend. He had plenty of time

5 yards deeper and it hits him in the chest. Come on, it's still Eli's fault, but be serious.

BEcause by the time he saw them, he would have gotten blasted to the ground. Not everything is hjis fault. The INT, yes. Watch how he threw the checkdown. Offf his back foot.
If we didn't run run pass every possession the last 10 weeks maybe we wouldn't be 3-7 but in the microcosm of the game people will rather blame Eli.

Eli is more 12-16 NFL top QB ala Marc Andre-Fleury than Henrik Lundqvist.
It won't kill you to admit he's playing poorly right now.

Wait for a bad play or two from Eli.

Gotta blame Eli for everything. Even completions are his fault now.
You aren't accomplishing anything with baiting people back like this.
But keep on thinking we need to bring Coughlin and crew back
I really can't believe some people making an excuse for Eli missing a wide open receiver by that much on a not very deep throw. Not are INT's are a QB's fault, but if Tony Romo made that exact same throw, would anybody on here be saying that it was the WR's fault? Of course not.
You saw that too.

Eli's INT was brutal, but that doesn't excuse just getting straight up sonned on defense they way they are/will be now.
No it wasn't, because you knew this was coming.
It's been the MO of this team for awhile now - play one decent half, then play like shit. I don't know what the fuck is going on in the locker room at halftime, but unless someone is giving these guys downers, it's inexplicable.

No Dep, whoever needs to get the blame is the one who gets it. Unfortunately for Eli, he is the only one playing the QB position. The QB has the unique opportunity to get all of the credit when things go well, and a lot of the blame when they dont go so well. He also touches the ball on EVERY play which gives him more opportunity to fuck up. He is the only one throwing the ball so unfortunately nobody else can get an interception other than Eli. He cannot defer his responsibility to make reads and change the plays to someone else either. BUT, that is what we pay him to do. So, yes he is going to win the SB MVP and the WR most likely wont.
but I am at the point where I don't really think it could be any worse.
We are one of the worst, laughing stock teams in the league.
Might as well try something different if only to do something.

I think a three and out would actually be ideal here, because we aren't getting a first down.
Eli's INT was brutal, but that doesn't excuse just getting straight up sonned on defense they way they are/will be now.
I was thinking the same thing. Even if thy score the defense wouldnt hold.
Especially with the line breaking down, no run game, Beckham out, and Eli not as on as he was in the first half.

No with you, Eli is never at fauly for anything. Unless your name is Romo, you simply cannot miss a guy open by ten yards that would have been a TD. Even if he under throws it, It was 1st and goal at the 5.
to be fair to Randle, it's basically been run the ball or throw it Beckham.
I still don't think we're...and Beckham is back in.
Too bad it's 2nd and really long.

Because it would have lost 10 yards if he completed it. Thats why.
And Jennings extends the ball, gave me a heart attack.
They are going for the win on this drive. Score and leave little time left. Very risky.
I hate this bozo!
That's cause JPP is a bum.

If he hit the RB, it's a 5 yd loss minimum, there were two guys waiting to tackle Jennings...
Yeah, he fed is. That play could have been solid, Jennings had blockers.

I was thinking 'how are they going to find a way to fuck this up'.
Come on. Score!

Brewer got in the game.

Dallas cannot go deep here. Romo can't get it there. Have to play tighter underneath.
He would have been cut on Monday!
Yup. But ten years from now the same idiots who incessantly bash him will be telling everyone who will listen how they rooted for Eli in the good old days.

That right there, there's our 2014 slogan.
You had 'All In' and 'Talk is Cheap'.
2014: What The Hell Was That?
I laughed because this is probably true.
Though I'm sure Hosley and Kiwanuka will throw in some key assists, coaching-aside.
His line is as good as anyone is going to get at the QB position tonight.
McAdoo did his job.
His line is as good as anyone is going to get at the QB position tonight.
That is exactly right!
Fuck you Perry you piece of shit
and no pass rush what so ever
Holy shit. Romo was reading War and Peace in the pocket.
Love me some Fewell.
Fewell suck ass.
making it easy wow
Tonight.
just impotent
wow
suck
uggghhhh
Actually, JPP was held sorry man LOL
I rest me case as to Fewell's mediocrity.
macadoo can keep his job, the rest are fucking fired.
all fucking day to throw, no fucking blitzes and you just let them jerk off to the endzone.
if caughlin doesn't punch Fewell in the fucking face right now he should just quit. that was a gutless piece of shit effort of epic proportions.
the only consolation is knowing we will keep a better draft pick.
MARA ARE YOU FUCKING WATCHING YOUR TEAM AND THEIR PATHETIC PIECE OF GARBAGE COACHES...
holy shit
Fewell had Kuhn and Kiwi in the pass rush package. No Ayers,no Moore,no blitz,no chance.
I hate Fewell! Absolutely hate the guy. We had zero pressure and he can't try a blitz?
Only Perry Fewell runs the Make It Look Like Only 9 Players Are On the Field Defense.
Well you saw our slow motion blitzes before
You forget the Eagles game in 2010?
Fewell is an absolute clown. And yet people will STILL defend him.
No Moore. No Bromley.
Just brutal
god forbid we give moore reps... only had a sack... and actually has a pulse for a pash rush.
Yep, sitting here at 1130 at night watching this FUCKING DISGRACE of a defense.
Just a joke why Moore is not in
Oh, you want the coach to make adjustments
Fewell had Kuhn and Kiwi in the pass rush package. No Ayers,no Moore,no blitz,no chance.
Ayers not on the field is strange isn't it?
I don't care how awesome the OL is, 7 seconds of protection twice on the same drive is unforgivable.
AS LONG AS WE Don't call 2 runs.
You do realize that his last one cost at least 3 pts and probably 7 pt, right.
Eli won't have time to throw anyway.
Pathetic

Every last one of us.

Yep, staying up for a bad movie that you know how it would end.
because they are fucking mindless assholes... why try anything other than stick round pegs in square holes and think that if they keep doing the same old dog shit it will eventually work.

But the truth is that Dallas's online is just awesome.

Dumb play
Can you believe that?

week again, instead of how shitty this defense truly is.

I'm not excusing his INT, it was brutal and all on him, but anyone who watched this game and came away with him being the reason they lost this game is a moron... yet, I guarantee, he's what 90% of the coverage/talk will be about.
Especially if he throws a desperation pick here.
was thinking the same
Yep. Just more terrible QBing.
each QB has had
Hes not even close to it.
game over.
woof what a way to suck
Great fucking job all the way around. Blow this thing up.
You're an idiot. Did you not see him get hit? Of course not. Everything is Eli's fault.
ELIS FAULT FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!
WOO HOO!!!!!
Just STFU
NHL more and more becoming my favorite league every day.
that's called being a fan.
That was it he had to jump to get the fucking ball. What a joke of just throwing it high
Quote:
thanks again Eli!
Just STFU
Right back at you, together with the 50k Cowboys fans currently celebrating their victory in our shithole.
Another look at Coughlin's stupid face

No Dep, you are a COMPLETE idiot. I am giving the guy credit when he deserves it. YOU on the other hand are like the white house pres secretary with your commentary. Eli was hit AFTER he released the ball. It was a 10 yard fucking pass to a wide open TE. This is every fucking game dude. Good play, bad play, good play, bad play.
Not Eli's fault the receiver doesn't know how to run a 3 yard pattern.
That cheer was sickening too. Where is this? Dallas?
Giants did not play well the last 35 minutes of the game. The killer play was the Eli sailed pass to Parker that was intercepted by Safety Church. Happens but that was a TD we missed.
agreed.. everyone who has been here more than just this year can go and i won't miss em

Yeah everyone but Coughlin huh?
And there should be roving death squads outside the stadium to do us all a favor and get rid of all those piece of shit scumbag NJ Cowboy fans.
His highball cost us the game dood.

see there you go again - Eli is NEVER wrong.
except he was hit when he threw that so that wasn't on Eli.

lol, you are a moron. He really had a chance to step into his throw eh?
Forget Jennings drop on first down or forget the fact he couldnt run a pattern that went 2 yards. Its Eli's fault because our OG got destroyed and Eli had less tha na second to throw.
ELI SUCKZ!
Another look at Coughlin's stupid face
How fuckig stupid are you? Eli and OBJ were the only reason we didn't et blown out. You don't deserve to root for this franchise....asshole
No, the loss is not on Eli. He did make a couple of critical mistakes. However, to me the loss is on the coaching staff and the defensive players.
And there should be roving death squads outside the stadium to do us all a favor and get rid of all those piece of shit scumbag NJ Cowboy fans.
OL is a mess, they got destroyed in the 2nd half, Jerry is horrid.
And there should be roving death squads outside the stadium to do us all a favor and get rid of all those piece of shit scumbag NJ Cowboy fans.
Yup, disgusting to see

professional qb's are going to get hit. You hang in and throw a good pass.
And another clown to the show. They are going to be out in full droons now. This place is awful.
Quote:
Have got to be kidding me
His highball cost us the game dood.
No the 30+ points allowed by the defense that had the lead with 3 mins left cost us the game.. Holy shit if you can't see that your insane

Absolutely correct
Do you do the traditional Emmett Kelly sad tramp, or something more modern? Do you birthday parties?
Mara won't do shit because of it.
Really? You HAD to know that was coming. Everything is Eli's fault. Didn't you know??
They don't review spots during the game unless challenged by a coach so why with 25 seconds left?
You're not getting the point. There was no need to do a booth review. The refs called it a first down. Spot the ball at the marker and get the next play off. To me, Garrett was pining for a review.
What the fuck is your problem you little bitch?
