Beckham has gotten on the field and proceeded to make jaws drop. There's nothing else going for this team. Need the best draft slot possible, period. 1/3 of this team will be gone by next year anyway
got to fire people. Fewell at the top of the list. That last drive was unreal. Dallas goes eighty yards like they went eight. No pressure. Brought only four. Kiwi and Kuhn? Are you kidding? Apparently not.
No pressure from the DEs. Kiwi and JPP did nothing.
No cover LBs.
Rotten OL, and why are we carrying eleven?
No WRs really after Beckham.
Marginal TEs.
Endless running to nowhere.
Keep playing the same players who do nothing, instead of at least trying someone else.
The whole organization is a shit show. Reese isn't getting the right players, and Coughlin won't play anyone he does. I bet Reese is pissed that Coughlin doesn't play Moore and Bromley more often. I remember Reese commenting he wanted to see the younger players on the field more. Mara said the same thing when JJ played well at the end of last year.
but the fact of the matter is that all that matters this season is draft positioning - blowing this game was a good thing, especially if it helps to make the case for a coaching overhaul.
Agree
It's like a different team played the second half.
and the D. Eli misses a wide open Parker and Beckham alone down the sideline. I like Eli, but you can't have a guy who makes what he does in your cap play like Hoyer. Make the easy plays for fuck sake. And the D plays like they usually do.
Sad part is coming out of halftime I said to my friend, "you just know we'll fail to adjust to what they do, and we'll lose on a TD to Dez late."
PS - Way to play matchups - Scandrick out, and Beckham comes back in, and we run it. Perfect.
100% agreed - sign me up for the newsletter and commemorative plaque.
Plenty of disappointment to go around - from our franchise QB overthrowing a wide open guy in the end zone to our defense shitting the bed, and our offense unable to get a single fucking first down against a pedestrian defense, at home.
Almost all the intelligent people on this board (about 25 to 30 percent) agreed that the number one and only priority of the off season was to protect Eli,because when under sustained pressure Eli was falling apart.
They chose instead to draft a wide receiver first, and to hand out the biggest free-agent contract to a cornerback, where we were not particularly weak.
This game turned around when the Giants stopped getting pressure on Romo and the Cowboys started getting relentless pressure on Eli. And Eli, whether he ever could play well under these conditions, can certainly not play with them now.
All the Cowboy fans are enjoying a well-deserved gloat tonight.
but the defense had three chances to really stand tall: after the great Beckham TD when we had the momentum to take over the game, after the Eli pick, and after the last TD to go up 28-24. They went 0-3. They never make a stand. Never.
no one stays from the coaching staff that has been here more than just this year.
i can't stand to watch the stupid faces say the same stupid shit running the same innefective shit not learning shit and making us insane watching the same fucking shit...
just have to say no more.
Mara should nut kick Reese, who should nut kick TC who should shit on Fewell and Quinn...
sy o fuckin ara.
Just can't fathom the 8 seconds allowed for their offense and romo

The whole coaching staff needs to go, and the FO might need to go as well. They went into the locker room with the lead (again) and came out and played like horseshit in the second half (again).
Our highest paid player played well overall, but made stupid mistakes that cost us a score (again) and gave the opponent the ball in our territory (again).
Our coverage teams were abysmal, letting the runner get past the gunner and go for positive returns even when the punts had good airtime (again).
We keep fucking up, and doing the same things wrong over and over. It's definitely not just one root cause - but certainly a coaching problem and almost definitely a talent problem.
the one that bothered me most was the TD we gave up right after the incredible Beckham TD. If there was ever a time for the defense to feed off some energy and make a stand, that was it. But of course, like the spineless douchebags they are - they let them march right down the field with no resistance. JPP, Rolle and Fewell can steal money from different teams next season.
There is no hope. This entire coaching staff should be fired. Poor clock management. Poor play selection. No development of players. Poor decisions on who should play in key moments. Where was Moore and Ayers during Romo's march down the field? When to blitz. When not to? On and on.
It starts with Coughlin. I'm sure they had a great week of practice. On and on.

Yeah, Eli Manning was 29 out of 40 with 3 TD's and 1 INT.
on that last Dallas drive. Where are all the pass rushers - Pugh is in there?
Dallas OL is good, not that good. Just shows how bad the DLine talent is. JPP played well tonight, but Kiwi is done. Pugh gives them no pass rush. Jenkins could have helped us this game.
Not getting all bent out of shape - Giants just aren't good enough.
Tough to watch. Only bright spot is that I'd much rather see Dallas win the division than Philly.
The Cowboys have a really, really good offensive line. It wins football games.
No pressure from the DEs. Kiwi and JPP did nothing.
No cover LBs.

the throw to Parker that was too high and got picked, then not seeing OBJ running free when Scandrick fell down.
Then he had us in the lead with 3 minutes left. So no, Eli didn't cost us the game.
That's a 14 point swing. We lost the game by 3 points. So yes, those two bad plays by Eli lost us the game.
You are the biggest idiot in this forum. 14 point swing? So Eli played defense when Cowboys went 65 yards. Such a dolt.
Agree
Other than that, Eli's INT was probably a 14 point turnaround and the game. And then missing Donnell on the last drive was huge.
Sad part is coming out of halftime I said to my friend, "you just know we'll fail to adjust to what they do, and we'll lose on a TD to Dez late."

Blow it all up.
AND
Because they cannot run the ball.
Were you referring to the Giants coaching staff or the front office?
They chose instead to draft a wide receiver first, and to hand out the biggest free-agent contract to a cornerback, where we were not particularly weak.

Zero Beckham touches when game on line. Total utter abdication.
Ehh they scored to go a head with 3 mins left, I could've completed a pass with the time romo was getting, the defense is atrocious.
He was horrible on that throw to Parker, but probably the right decision not to throw it to Beckham.
This team needs an O-line yesterday. Spend big in FA.
This season can't end soon enough.

You're more loud than bright.
If Eli hits Parker, he scores. If Eli throws to Beckham, he scores. That's 2 TDs. 7 + 7 = 14.
Any questions?

still 6-10.

Being that they happened on back to back plays, if one happens the other is IMPOSSIBLE to happen. so yes, my question is how fucking stupid are you?
Broken record

let's blame him. Brilliant idea.
Well it looked like they did they played hard.

We couldn't get one first down with a minute left.
The OL and DL suck.
The way Al Michaels made it sound don't be shocked if this coaching staff and Reese are back.
So many chances to win that game, but too many failures by too many players and coaches. There was no one player or person who cost us this game.
Damn, so frustrating - why do I bother!?
He was horrible on that throw to Parker, but probably the right decision not to throw it to Beckham.

Good post.
