Where was Damontre and Ayers on the final drive??

SeattleDon : 11/23/2014 11:52 pm
Can somebody ask Fewell?
When he fails to answer, fire his ass.
Unbelievable. 2 fat guys and 2 guys way past their prime giving Romo all day long to win it.
Its been like this for years

More productive and more talented players riding the pine in favor of more expierenced players...
Giants used to pressure

QBs .....not anymore. Weak line up. Damonster is daBenched when we need a pass rush. If I was Moore I'd ask to be traded.
you know that thing they say
santacruzom : 11/23/2014 11:56 pm : link
about how some people coach as if they're afraid to lose?

Maybe that's us.
after the first 8 seconds Romo had...

Any idiot would run fresh legs out there. What. The. Fuck.
Ayers is plenty experienced...
Dunedin81 : 11/23/2014 11:56 pm : link
there's no particularly good explanation for this except that maybe they thought Dallas was going to run the ball because there was time left on the clock.
Kiwi

is just a statue out there
Was there even a blitz at all on that drive?
SeattleDon : 11/23/2014 11:57 pm : link
Anything different?
I was asking myself the same question

on the final drive. The Giants Dline looked completely gassed. On multiple plays, Romo had an eternity to throw the ball. Some fresh Dline players on this drive could have made the difference.
The line was

Kiwi, JPP, Hankins, and Patterson for the whole fucking finale.

They were super tired.
I don't recall any blitzes

Were there any?

Reese needs to cut Kiwi
bigbluescot : 11/24/2014 12:01 am : link
because the moronic idiots who make up our defensive coaching staff refuse to sit him when it's obvious that he's got a fork the size of Manhattan stuck in him. Yet he's in constantly on passing downs, hell he's not even that good against the run.
Didn't see Ayres the whole game
oldutican : 11/24/2014 12:02 am : link
Did he get hurt?
Saw some Kuhn on the last drive

the epitome of JAG.
Ayers was in the first half, as was Damontre
SeattleDon : 11/24/2014 12:03 am : link
Ayers got a pressure, Damontre got a sack. Then they disappeared up Fewell's ass for the night.

I have literally no clue why they went with a regular d-line on that last possession. Ayers is their best pass rusher, even if he did little tonight, and he needs to be on the field in that spot.

No
I can understand maybe, maybe
bc4life : 11/24/2014 12:35 am : link
not trusting Moore but Ayers is a vet and not really a liability against the run.
Not defending Fewell at all
Jim in Forest Hills : 11/24/2014 12:54 am : link
but I believe there was enough time on the clock for Dallas to run the ball still.
think you're right
bc4life : 11/24/2014 1:00 am : link
but Ayers could have helped with either run or pass.

Giant defense playing at the bottom of the league in just about every category. I just don't see how Fewell survives that.
Not sure where Ayers and Damontre were...
SHO'NUFF : 11/24/2014 2:09 am : link
but I sure do know where Kuhn was...and it wasn't anywhere near Romo.
Dallas was going to run the ball?
oipolloi : 11/24/2014 3:32 am : link
But then Garrett saw that legendary run stopper Kiwi and knew he had no chance of gaining anything on the ground.
