he had outside contain? I couldn't grasp why he looked so timid rushing the passer, he almost seemed to be crowding JPP. Perhaps his assignment was to prevent Romo from rolling out?
Could have been trying to move Tyron Smith out to block him, allowing JPP a clear inside rush. Either way he didn't sell it well enough all though JPP did get some heat.

When I rewound it to watch what happened, it was clear McClain was waiting for Romo to do his usual reverse spin out of danger if pressured from the inside. JPP never go to the inside of Smith so Romo never had to move. Once again, JPP fails to deliver on his end of the play.
