I sold my seats so technically I am part of the problem. But I don't look at it that way. I am a paying customer. In fact I pay a lot. I could definitely find something more useful to spend $3000 on a year so when I get a chance to recoup some money I do.
But I sold these seats especially because I am fed up with the constant year to year attitude this team has taken over the last few years. I blame Coughlin. I don't think he wants a 4 year deal but doesn't want to go either. So every year it is what we do this year. One year we bring everyone back. Th next we fire one coordinator. What will Mara do this year? Bring all back? Fire Fewell. Fire everyone?
The way to make it known you are not happy is not to go. When they said the Giants were short on 4th down did you hear that roar? There must have been 30000 or more Dallas fans there. That's embarrassing but shows fans in NY one have a job to get to the next day and two are sick of losing.
Mara is a loyal man but is also a business man and I wonder if people start dumping PSL's or surrender luxury suites if that will be the final straw. The Giants finish vs the Eagles. A cold December day out of the playoffs with a team 90 miles away. You will see a lot of empty gray seats and people in green.
I am not screaming for Coughlin's head but either crap or get off of the pot. Sign a long extension or start over. This reevaluate every year is not working.
Then maybe Mara will do what's necessary.
Then maybe Mara will do what's necessary.
Boo f-cking hoo.
Unfortunately the injuries excuse will likely once again enable the owners to kick the can down the road one more time.
Paul Schwartz had an interesting comment recently..."The Giants are experts at losing". Its not a prophetic statement. Facts are stubborn things.
That's been our stance for the last couple of years, and the results have been the same. So why don't you try to convince me how it will be different next year?
This team needs new leadership in the coaching booth. I know, who would we get that's better?
We'll never know if we don't try
