good draft. A season where they get the 7/8 seed and lose in 5 games to someone is meaningless in the long run. They need a ton of talent and getting a big time draft pick on a rookie contract is the best thing that can happen to the Knicks.

Sadly it's clearly a "give up" season and we really don't have many intriguing young talents. Shumpert has played well but I think many suspect he's gonna be dealt vs. paying him 8+ million per (he's also not a "big" talent that excites people) THjr is nothing special and 1 note. What exactly are fans supposed to do?
I am intrigued to see how they look in January as opposed to now. By then we should see marked improvement on both ends of the floor.
I am also interested to see what moves they are going to make during this year. If they're not going to sign Shumpert are they going to trade him? Will they move Amar'e? Can they find someone willing to take J.R.?
I don't think this team needs to try to tank. I've only watched a couple games this season. Acy is nice, but none of the additions are game changers and we're a roster that needs more talent.

The only 2 guys i expect to be moved are Shump and JR because that potentially adds 12 million to their cap space next year...
I dont expect guy slike Stat and Bargs to be moved unless its for someone being added for the future...I think Phil lets those contracts expire...
when they look like they do right now. Its not like you are going to discuss next offseason this early (at least not a ton) and its even too early to talk about in season moves (at least have to wait until the DEC 15 date).
