IMO. giving TC a 2 year contract only means one year for sure letting McAdoo and the Giants offense continue to grow (based on rebuilding OL and getting a good 2way TE). Getting a new and effective DC, who understands this situation and is willing to accept it, is problematic.

Eli is going to have a big say as to who is brought in. If the Giants determine they don't want to give him a long extension they may look for a defensive coach. If they plan on bringing him back long term I would assume they go offensive. He is to make 20 million next year. I think Rolle is gone and JPP might go as well so there will be cap space but if they wanted to really rebuild they may just let Eli play out his contract and determine next season do they want to extend.
