going into next year?
We all have stated the need to evaluate what we have talent wise for next year. I would think TC would be only interested in wins. Reese also to a certain degree. Going into 2015 with the season over if I do not see some these other players on the field I feel the FO is missing out on an opportunityto evaluate the team needs going forward. The fan base wants to see this but I have my doubts it will happen. Focus will probalbly be on finishing with as many W's as possible.
Guys like Kiwi shouldn't see the field at all .
I also hope they reshape the o-line to basically what we might see next year. Schwartz at left guard and Pugh back at right tackle. In my mind, we need a new guard as Jerry is horrible and if I'm Will Beatty no guarantee we don't draft a LT with our no. 1 pick.
Not sure who else you give a chance to in terms of young players unless you give Robinson more time and maybe Berhe at safety.
In short, I don't believe we're missing out on much with this roster, as is.
Given the performance inertia of NYG since mid-2012, I'm pretty well disgusted overall.
They might as well play what few young guys they have and see.
Conversely, do you want they're impressionable young minds poisoned by having to play Perry Fool's moronic schemes?
:-)
I'd like to hear of the lineup's that everyone is clamoring for.
This idea of evaluating talent is exactly what they do every day in practice and the off season.
Fans think differently than coaches. Many of you believe the team will be better served going forward by losing out. You however do not have to face the players every day, asking them to do their best to get ready for Sunday s opponent, when you the coach are playing for next year.
They likely have a good sense of what they have so they're not going to play guys just so fans can "see what we've got."
That said, if things are hopeless it might be beneficial to get some of the young guys reps so that they've got more game experience heading into next year.
That's unlikely to happen without management getting involved.
Agree JonC. The team's mindset is to win every game and if it means putting in the new guys to do it, they will, but I wouldn't count on major lineup changes.
Otherwise, TC & crew will stick with who they "trust", to save their jobs

So what did they see in Cordle and Jerry? And how did they fail to notice that Snee and Baas both can't walk right?
They DESPERATELY need a big mean wide-bodied bruiser at RT (which he is not). They need to snag the very best they can next year.
I agree about Richburg too, he needs the pro snaps at hgis natural position (ditto Nassib)
