With a blow out win I have moved into 5th place by points. I still need to win if I want to be in the playoffs. Who would you start??
qb: Romo vs Eagles or Kaepernick vs Seattle.
and
Flex: Ty Hilton vs Wash, Ryan Mathews vs Bal or Tre Mason vs Oak
as of now I have Romo and TY Hilton but Mason could go off vs Oak
I'll never doubt you again, OBJ!
My dilemma will be if Foster plays, than do I go with Jennings or Watkins. Watkins lack of targets is really discouraging. I really felt he was going to dominate after a few weeks with Orton, but he doesnt get many looks anymore. Woods and Hogan seem to get more 1 on 1s which Orton is throwing him the ball.
My squad just dropped 205 and moved me up into 2nd place. I'm tied with 4 other teams at 7-5.. the 1st place team is 9-3. My team is 1st in pts. Sucks that I probably won't catch him because he only needs to win one of his last 2 matchups to clinch 1st place. But who knows. As long as I'm in the playoffs I'll take my chances

Funny, I did the same thing in a league where I had Cobb, AJ Green and Emmanuel Sanders. So, you can see why I had OBJ on the bench. In that league, I am in the 4th position and 2nd in overall points. So, I need to win next week and get into the 2nd or 3rd seed so that I do not go up against the leader in round 1 who really is tough to beat.

Do you do a side pot for most points? I am shocked to hear how many leagues DONT do something for most points.
Week 1 of my playoffs and i have tough RB and WR choices. Pick two of each position
RB - Forte (DET), Jennings (JAX), Denard (NYG), CJ Anderson (KC)
WR - A. Brown (NO), Beckham (JAX), Gordon (BUF), M. Evans (CIN)
Id probably go Beckham, but playing Gordon wouldnt be stupid. Tough to leave Evans on the bench though. You guys should start more people in your league.

Romo and Hilton.

Unfortunately we don't. I wish we did.. it was the highest score in the league all year.
I actually had the highest score to date dropped on ME just last week when I lost 194-139.. my 139 would have been enough to beat the other 8 teams and it was against the team in 1st right now. Backbreaker. Had I won that matchup I'd be in 1st place right now.

Man that's hard.. a lot of studs in there. Forte is a must start. He's the top RB in .5/1ppr leagues .. and I think CJA is a must start at this point as well. So there's your RB's (I'm starting those two as well)
And as for WR.. much tougher. Antonio Brown should never sit. And really, I think you just go matchups with the other guys and OBJ is probably your best bet. It's a complete toss up between he and Gordon especially. But I think you go with the WR with the better QB and the better matchup.
Brown and Forte are def impossible to sit. Anderson has the worst RB matchup of the other 3 which is the only reason i was considering sitting him. As for WR i do have Beckham as my second right now based on matchup so i guess thats how ill stay for now (prolly change my lineup 20 times this week, ha).

I do need help to get the #6 seed out of 12 teams. There are three teams vying for the #6 spot with me playing against one of the three (I'm favored to win by 15+ points) and the other team playing against the #2 seed this week.
Starters for now:
Drew Brees - QB
Brandon Marshall - WR
Calvin Johnson -WR
Rashad Jennings - RB
Giovani Bernard - RB
Martellus Bennett - TE
Randal Cobb - Flex
Nick Novak - K
Detroit - Def
Bench:
Eli Manning
Isaiah Crowell
Darren McFadden
Jonas Gray
Odell Beckham Jr.
New York Giants
Questions are:
1) Do I move OBJ in as either a WR or Flex. Over which of these three: Johnson, Marshall, and Cobb
2) Do I keep Bernard as the RB or put Crowell in since he showed some great things last weekend.
3) Do I start the Giants Def over Lions Def based on the matchup?
Really my only questions for this week are Kenny Stills or Andre Johnson as my WR3 and Lamar Miller or Isaiah Crowell as my flex.
I think I'm going to go with Stills and Crowell.
Hopefully Julius Thomas can give it a go this week so I don't have to start Donnell again.
I have Bell and Cj Anderson as my starting RBS
I have Beckham and Cobb as my starting WRs
Mccoy has killed me all year but Julio has struggled to really get going like he was at the beginning of the year...i am leaning Jones
1 PPR
I still have another Ryan vs. Rivers dilemma. SD at Baltimore and Ryan home vs. Atlanta. Neither is good matchup whatsoever.

My only thing with Cobb is though he has been a beast the past couple of weeks and really has only had 2 bad weeks all season and one of the bad weeks he scored a TD...
Falcons are playing the Cardinals my fear with Julio is the Cardinals get a ton of pressure on Ryan and he has no time to throw

I'd use McCoy in the flex and leave Cobb as your WR2. Jones has one big game in his last 6 and has only scored once since Week 3.

yeah thanks for advice...i may go with that...
Yeha my only worry is Mccoy over Jones but i think at this point the play is to sit Julio...
Beckham over Marshall as my Flex
With:
Megatron and Cobb as my WR1 and WR2
And the Lions over the Giants?
Somehow I still have a shot to make the playoffs in my other league but i need to outscore the other seeded team by 40. My roster is loaded right now...there's hope.
Alshon Jeffrey @ Det
Boldin @ Sea
Jordan Matthews @ Dal
Steve Smith @ SD
The bye seemed to really help Steve Smith. Boldin has been playing great, not sure I can bench him.
I put in waiver claims on Blount, Latavius Murray, Daniel Herron, and Jarvis Laundry, in that order. I need a RB bad, but if I miss them all I think I should pick up Landry anyway as depth.
What would your order be on those waiver claims?
QB - Luck
RB - Lynch
RB - Charles
WR - Calvin
WR - TY Hilton
WR - Emmanuel Sanders
TE - Gronk
Bench - OBJ and Andre Ellington
Do I start Ellington over Lynch? Is there anyway I can bench one of those WR for Beckham?
That roster looks like it belongs in a 4 team league. It's just silly. You literally have top players at every single position.
Still, do I pull Lynch for Ellington? I don't think I can pull any of my WRs for OBJ even though I really want to. I would almost lean towards benching Calvin but they are playing Chicago...
Yeah, that's kind of ridiculous.
I'm hoping this week is meaningless other than maybe a bye.
other league i was 1 - 8, now I'm 5 - 9 and if i sweep a double-header this weekend i can sneak into the playoffs.
this is the team i traded away forte, hillman, and my other "good players" for keepers like kelvin benjamin and sammy watkins. odell beckham might have resuscitated my hopes.
long shot, but not dead.
my thinking is im getting so many points from my wr's that just average points from my rb's is good enough.
I like Herron, mostly because I hate Richardson and their offense is special.
QB - Rivers
Rb - McCoy
RB - Foster
WR - Brown
WR - Gordon
WR - Beckham
Flex - CJ Anderson (or Watkins if CJ loses his job)
K - McManus
D - roulette between Ravens, Rams, Chargers.
If Rivers can put up so games like he did earlier in the year, I would put my team up agaisnt anyones in my league.

Do you think CJ loses his job? He was awesome last week.
my WR's are good but no depth.
julio jones and randall cobb. only backup is kenny stills.
te is julius thomas and delanie walker.
IS Hillman playing this week?
Don't get me wrong, Hillman looked good without a doubt but I think CJA is the best RB on that roster. Hillman will probably get touches when he's back but it's going to be hard to get CJA off the field if he keeps running like that.
PJ, hoping he's out for another 3-4 weeks
PJ, hoping he's out for another 3-4 weeks
Hillman is so speedy and they love him. I hope he's out too, Ball is the forgotten man here (and the only one of the three I drafted (2nd round) and the only one of the three no longer on my roster
Brees, Rivers
Forte, CJA, Crowell, L. Miller, J. Hill, C. Sims
E. Sanders, OBJ, A. Johnson, K. Stills. K. Wright

I still put up 205. Highest score in my league all year.

My bench isn't great, but I feel my startees are damn good and all finally healthy/off suspension. Unless they completely shit the bed I don't see how I don't win the championship.
Holding on for dear life to the overall pts title. Up 40 on one team and 36 on the other....
