All you hypocrites are begging for talent on D. Well we had it and now it's on Baltimore.
The Giants are doing a great job winning the "morality" award.
Should have listened to me and kept the kid, he'd be our 2nd best player behind ODB.
Besides prince/Hankins this is one of the least talented DEF cores I've seen. Hope Cooper Taylor is the goods
PLEASE.

And in case you didn't know it, they would still be 3-8. Can he play OL too? or DL? Or LB?
It provides a way for this clown to scream, "Look at me! Pay attention to me!"
What in the world do you do for a living? If you had a co-worker who couldn't get his act together, was completely unreliable, constantly in trouble, negligent and only showed up to work once or twice a week and STILL was only let go after a handful of second chances, how could you take your bosses seriously if they continued to enable this person?
It's nuts that there's even a small percentage of people that can't figure this situation out. A business that allows different rules for different employees is destined to fail. There is absolutely no logical, rational or passable explanation for the Giants to have put up with Will Hill's disregard for the franchise, and I am absolutely floored that there are people stupid enough to think they should have. I mean, WTF are you thinking? What world do you live in? JFC. Wake up.
2)that said, there are tons of examples of high performers getting special treatment in the real world
2)Will Hill doesn't get paid when he is suspended and he doesn't make a couple million dollars, more like 600k

He also doesn't help the team when he's suspended...every season.
Secondly, it is a valid comparison to a workplace where people depend on other members of their team to be present and accountable to get the job done.
Definitely a "look at me" thread.
No one gives a shit what you say, let alone should listen to you, fool. Delete this redundant and useless thread.
Is the team you watch on Sundays disciplined and reliable?
For those who were against the action taken by the Giants, or those like moi, who have slowly come around due to the terrible play of Demps and Brown, his play last night only adds fuel to the fire....
As stated we do not know all the facts, or ever will.....we can all wish he was still here, but he isn't....Will Hill is not walking through that door.....
The problem arises, if the front office let him go thinking, Brown/Demps was as good as him, cold replace him, and that was part of the thought process in releasing him....if it was, then that brings into play, how this team evaluates it's own talent......
When he got caught again, he forced the Giants' hand. If the Giants change their stance and give Hill yet another chance, the team's entire enforcement and consequences system becomes a joke, and everybody knows it. Other players possibly start pushing boundaries, and when they get in trouble, question why Hill got special treatment. That's when you talk about things like, "The coach lost the locker room."
The Giants did not want to cut Hill. But they had no choice at that point. You cut him and hope the backups will be up to the task. Otherwise you keep him and pray it doesn't make the whole thing fall apart.
Is the team you watch on Sundays disciplined and reliable?
No, but keeping players like Will Hill only makes them less so.
One would hope so. Because in the case of Will Hill, history has a habit of repeating itself.
Who knew policy would change 3 weeks later.
Being away from his 'hood is best for HIM.
Giants loss; WHill, and maybe the Ravens gain.
IIWII.
Move along.
2) those whining about people whining... did not want him... and don't enjoy being wrong about whether it made sense to keep him.
3) no players seemed to talk bad about him... but I guess that doesn't matter.
4) at least we have good citizens like kiwi.

However, as others have said, oh my God let it fucking go.
If the Giants were a good team with a wining record nobody would give Hill a second thought. Releasing him is not the problem with the current Giants organization and anyone thinks pandering to him would have changed the outcome this season they are kidding themselves.

Hill was suspended and not getting paid. Why doesn't that count as enforcement of the rules?
+1 +1
How many times does the owner have to ask are you clean and told yes and then failed drug test shows up
It is not the weed. 3 suspensions in the NFL after being given a life line
MOVE ON
Got some news for you, LT would be regularly suspended in today's NFL. Probably whole seasons worth.
Exactly. Be pissed at Will Hill, not the Giants. Its like disciplining your kids. If you tell them there are going to be certain consequences if they continue to make the same mistakes...you have to follow through. Hill knew what he was doing, and he didn't care. He left the Giants no choice.
LT would never have become LT in this day and age. He'd have been forced to clean himself and if he didn't, he'd have been kicked out of the league before long. Another waste of talent like so many others.
But apparently easy to cry over.
