Padres ave asked about Cespedes. Seager is next million dollar man.

Yanks might be interested in Gio Gonzalez. Dodgers interested in Co,e Hamels.

The Seaver deal is starting to set the market for 3bs and will effect what Headley gets. I don't want to over pay for Chase since 3b is not an overall must need. We have Prado and Aroid for now and Jaigelo for the future.

Yanks need another top pitcher as I think CC is DONE!!
We also need a ss and I do not want Drew.

Looks like Atlanta is actually serious about Tomas

One has nothing to do with the other. Their trading of Heyward and maybe Upton has to do with how much these guys can bring back/what they want in extensions. Tomas's deal likely going to be roughly half of what those 2 get.

according to Jon Heyman, they will probably only go 3 years for Headley and it seems pretty clear from the market he will be able to get 4 guaranteed...

Got plenty of kids that could battle for 2b in the spring. U can dumpster dive after spring training breaks if need be

McCarthy is a big decision. He's gonna wait the market and land a nice contract

If the Giants could grab Lester and make the teams with SS's looking for pitching a little more likely to consider the Mets guys. Maybe Niese/Gee/Montero could get a boost in value, or even Wheeler (obviously with a much higher class of player coming back in return).

They could really do me a solid and sign Moncada and restore my faith in the franchise somewhat but I already know Wilmer Flores or Stephen Drew are going to be my SS.

I do like Flores, it's just.. I've always got to expect the cheap route because that's always the route they go.

too except that alarming reports have come out that he is absolutely NOT a major league SS. I guess talent is talent but we have a MILLION 2nd base options and Wright and Duda at the corners. I'd still sign him though.
