The RGIII experiment looks like a huge failure and it cost the redskins 3 first rd picks. You would think that would be crippling for a franchise if the QB didnt turn out to be a superstar and make up for that deficit in talent.
But looking at the Redskins team, they have the same record as the Giants, and frankly just as talented a roster if not a better one then the Giants. I cant wrap my head around how that's possible with them not having their first rd picks the past 3 yrs.
Glad to see the spirit of thanksgiving eludes the fucktards.

And the Redskins still have no idea who their QB is, so there's that...

Griffin appeared embarrassed by the unprofessionalism of his teammates, who clearly demonstrated a lack of respect for Washington’s supposed franchise quarterback. You think Peyton Manning or Tom Brady have to flee their own locker rooms to conduct interviews? Griffin isn’t universally beloved — few players are on any team — but his popularity had little do to with the clown antics...

@jreidpost: Don't pay any attention to that nonsense about Robert still being in their long-term plans. Trying to prop up publicly to trade him.

@jreidpost: This isn't all on Robert. Just like it wasn't all on Campbell, or Shanny or Zorn or even Vinny.

He's not saying Washington is talented, as in they have a significant amount of it and praising them.
He's saying they and the Giants have roughly equal talent levels despite the Giants having more high draft picks lately... Which isn't some ridiculous statement, unfortunately. Both teams significantly lack talent and are terrible, except one is terrible in spite of having an alleged franchise QB in his prime and the other has a current dumpster fire at QB.

Thank you. I thought it was pretty clear.
Top 11 in both offense and defense in terms of yardage
Right, it's just be throwing out there with not positional breakdown. I want to see the comparisons assuming both teams are healthy.
They made the playoffs more recently than the Giants have and currently have the same record as they do. They just didn't have quite the same luck last year to run up against a bunch of QBs that didn't even belong in the NFL, really.
They're a horrible franchise and so long as Snyder owns them, no success will ever be sustained and any coach that signs on there is writing their career's obit, but at this moment, their collective talent level and the Giants' aren't all that favorably different and that's a pretty salty punch, given how we're supposed to run/function significantly better than they do.

We are tied for last place with the Redskins. The laughing stock of the NFC East. It doesn't matter how or why. Its embarrassing. Fix it, Jerry.

It doesn't but the discussion was about talent level. I don't see how they are in better shape talent wise.
One way to see how the talent matches up is in the game, head to head. Pretty sure we beat them 45-10 in there building.
That's impressive considering they have had Colt McCoy and Kirk Cousins running their offense all year. Better than the Giants on both accounts.
DeSean Jackson, Alfred Morris, Pierre Garcon, Jordan Reed on offense.
I'd take top 11 in offense and defense with bad QB play than historically bad defense and moderately average on offense with a franchise/potential future HOF QB.
They are certainly not less talented overall.

And that organization will be a disaster for as long as Snyder owns it.
If the Giants are better off talent wise to any degree of note right now than Washington, they're by far the worst coached team in the NFL.
Glad to see the spirit of thanksgiving eludes the fucktards.
The spirit of thanksgiving is having delusionally positive views about your football team. Interesting.

Good Point
Those arguing that we are more talented than the 'skins makes our coaching look even worse
Prince - IR
Pugh - played hurt ALL year
Not to mention:
- Star LB lost all year
- Big OL signing lost pretty much all year
- Big Slot CB corner signing lost for the year
- 2 other CBs lost for the year
- 2 safeties lost for the year
- Star RB signing lost for a big chunk of the season
- #1 WR lost for the year
So, yeah, the guys left aren't the most talented.
As for the talent...their offense is hands down more talented...and their D is about the same talent wise, maybe a hair worse on paper but better performance wise.
Dallas and Philly have pulled away, we should have too.
The Redskins make the type of moves that fans clamor for. The Haynesworth's, the RG3's, etc...
Fan moves.
Case in point, a buddy of mine wanted RG3 so desperatlely in the months leading up to the draft he would have traded anything for him. And the Redskins did. And he was happy.
That is a cycle that repeats itself every year in Washington. Fans see, fans want, Redskins get. Rinse, repeat.
That is why the Redskins always suck.
Yes, the Giants suck now, but they will get better again. The Redskins will be in this same cycle in five years, after the Giants have more pelts on the wall.
That same year, the Giants drafted 32nd because they won the damn Super Bowl. That draft pick is retired because of a neck injury.
Secondly, I want to read some specific examples of the Redskins talent edge. Let's see it.
So I assume since you think the skins are more talented than the Giants that you would prefer the Giants were in the skins shoes roster wise? Have you watched Washington play this year? Did you remember how the Giants dominated them in September? Clearly this season has brought out the insanity in our fan base.
Something has to give when two teams are pretty equally terrible and only one has major QB issues.

Right except one team has a HOF coach and the other. Rookie head coach...
I think giants are better of long term but hoa could anyone say the redskins are so inferior in talent. We. Are 3 and 8

Cherry picking ggames. Doesn't prove a point because then jets > steelers. Chiefs > pats etc.
Hey, they gambled and they lost. Imagine if Jerry Jones actually made a similar deal to grab Johnny Football?
