yup, the read and react defense, while romo could have read war and peace with the time he had was completely inappropriate complete indictment of coughlin and fewell. washington and philly have both demonstrated what an aggressive blitzing defense can do to romo, whose back is shot.

The Giants secondary is why Fewell stayed away from blitzing. Bowman was supposed to be the 5th CB if he made the team and Holsey was not supposed to make the team. Why do you think Rex Ryan stopped blitzing. Similar problem at CB

Who do we attack with? Outside of average JPP and Jenkins when healthy we don't have pass rushers. Ayers can chip in but he isn't a starter, just situational.
Lets face it, we have to really hope Bromley can take over for Jenkins next year and Moore can take over for Kiwi. If these two young guys hold up we'll be ok. We also need Beason back in the middle, kennard at LB and a top free agent at LB.

No shit our defense has been trash from day one, its been trash for years but AZ did not blast us. Do you remember our punter kicking the ball straight down the middle of the field to tedd ginn jr who ran it back for a TD through our swiss cheese punt coverage? How about fumbling the kickoff right after? How about jennings fumbling when we were about to score? MISTAKES is what did us in vs AZ, we did not get blasted.
He cannot get anything behind his throws. That we didn't even try to rattle him is pathetic. Every down the Eagles threw the kitchen sink at Romo and made him move to throw, which completely exposed his injury. As I have said in the past, the Eagles are smarty strategically. They know their defense stinks, so what they bet is that by attackin your offense, they will disrupt enough that their offense will be more efficient than yours.
The key to beating the Eagles is picking up the blitz, once you do that, there defense is terrible, and I stress, terrible. They are a well-coached team though that really knows how to hide their weaknesses and exploit their strengths.

This whole team is a train wreck...one week it's ST's, the next it's the offense, the next it's the defense, the next it's a combination of the three, and so on....
But there is no denying, the blueprint for beating Dallas is to pressure Romo.....his back was not right when he played us.....the difference was he could step into his throws against us, and not against the Eagles....not only did we not pressure him, we rushed him with 3, and we didn't have our best pass rushers out there....there is no excuse for that.....If Perry is here next season, this team will set itself back more than just one season....how many times do you have to be hit over the head with a bat to realize the futility of this defense?
agree and had same thought during game yesterday. Romo's throws were horrible. That was not the same player as against us. It might also be that he did not have an entire week to recover from the Giants game.

If you watch the game the first series Stanton takes them right down the field for a td to fitz. He also hit fitz for a 17 yarder and another WR for a big gain. They also ran through the defense like it was jello.Drc had a big pass interference too. It really showed a back up QB ripping a Fewell defense.
A harbinger of games to come. Lots of time to throw imagine what Palmer would have done to us.
5 more games and we'll never have to endure his ineptitude again.
