draw play is the worst play in football. With the rules in place now there's no reason not to just chuck one deep. The only risk is an interception going the other way, but they call illegal contact, holding, PI all the time.
has had a rough year but let's not forget they were one play away from going to super bowl last year and one play away from winning it year before, both with Kaepernick at QB.
And Alex Smith isn't very good, either. Still hasn't thrown a TD to a WR this year

That play is a staple of the giants offense, unfortunately.
physical guys who can't stretch a defense. Boldin, Johnson and Crabtree are all similar. Didn't they trade Smith because he couldn't threaten teams vertically? Then aren't they getting vertical weapons? With Davis invisible this year, they have nobody who can beat his man deep.
were gonna be that team that struggles early, gets hot at the end of the season, and maybe wins it all. Especially after they pulled off that comeback in New Orleans. But I just don't see it anymore. A loss tonight and they're toast.
Kap was pretty good on that run to the SB. What's happened?
I'm at work right now with most of the websites blocked but this one, haha, go figure...I just caught some of this s*** show of a game on break, and it looks like the worst case scenario has happened.
I'll venture a best guess why the 49ers offense sucks this year:
When Kaepernick took over in 2012, the offense was already clicking, particularly the run game and OL. They had Randy Moss as a deep threat decoy always drawing double coverage, and then they had Delanie Walker who was an asset in run blocking and a coverage mismatch. Crabtree was playing like a top 10 receiver that year, and Davis was Davis.
From a offensive talent blueprint, that 49er team was probably the best built in the Harbaugh era, but nobody figured it as such back then.
Recall also the pistol and read option fad took the league by storm. Coupled by Kaepernick's status as a backup and not the starter, and you could say his confidence was higher.
For the remainder of the season until the Super Bowl, Kaepernick had everything going for him.
Then as you know, the league gets film on you and slowly starts to figure you out.
Simultaneously the 49er OL and run game has dropped off, which is paramount for any success in this offense. In 2012, they were #1 ranked run block OL by PFF, and last year #2. This year they are #7 or #8. Gore's production has dropped off enough to make an impact.
Also, the 49ers passing game from a route concept is pretty basic and s***. It's a poor man's version of an Erhardt/Norv Turner vertical offense. Everything is all or nothing long passes it seems.
And one of the posters here called it -- too many of the same WR, but no real deep threat. If the rumor that Desean Jackson nearly signed with SF is true, this offense would certainly be better.
Kaepernick doesn't seem suited to a pure WCO, so you have to provide the structure around him to succeed.
TLDR:
League has caught up to Harbaugh/Greg Roman offense. OL and Gore have regressed. Kaepernick's growth hasn't kept pace. Offense more dominant when it has 2 legit TE threats and 1 deep threat over 4 possession WRs.
And the rumblings about Harbaugh? IMO, this is it. A great head coach for getting guys to play, but this offense has worn out its welcome.
hopefully whoever the new head coach and defensive coordinator of the giants are next year feel differently about the position and are involved in the scouting/signing/drafting of talent.
and the dirtier team. They are the new Eagles. The clipping play when the OL went right at the back of the defenders legs. The play when the 49er defender touched the the downed wr to stop the play, then the Seattle player takes a late cheap shot at the defender. Another OL hits a 49er player late than hides behind another player. They have to be one the dirtiest teams in the league.
One of the main differences in the game last night was the QB play. Wilson just seems to play smarter than Kap.
And of course, Sherman always whining about what the other team or the other team's fans say.
San Fran.
They beat Dallas, and Dallas beat Seattle. Go Niners!
think he said San Francisco Starters
not enough evidence to charge
Probably. except for that Super Bowl run.
And Alex Smith isn't very good, either. Still hasn't thrown a TD to a WR this year
as pathetic as their wine and cheese fans.

Good grief...how does Wilson get that ball back???

Happy Thanksgiving from Diego Garcia.
agreed. Not one close game
...Because the Giants suck worse?
Even though he is anti-Giants, he makes the broadcast interesting
Neither have i
