We may suck even worse than San Fran., but at least our front office is making a spectacle of its self ( Steve Tisch's cringe-worthy PDOA notwithstanding because I dont think he knew he was in camera). Their GM's daughter being a classless moron on Twitter, the owner apologizing in Twitter.
C'mon, man!
The Giants don't have much to show for themselves on the field these past two seasons but at least we have the talented, classy Mara girls. Hopefully no one in our front office says or does anything stupid the next 5 weeks.
Oh, good grief - this is what it's reduced to?
How long until pitchers and catchers report?
I think you're seeing a mentally tired group.
It's their QB. He cannot make NFL level reads. Pressure or perceived pressure gets him immediately off balance. And he doesn't have the wheels to break out and off like he did a few years ago.
It just seemed evident that their window wasn't going to stay wide open forever and now it's starting to fall shut.
You have to be able to capitalize when you get as close as they did. It's hard to keep getting back.
On defense, they are better at every position outside of maybe DRC and Rolle. I really like Reid on their D though.
Do you guys see any other positions where we have a player clearly better than they do?
She said "Greg Roman can take a hike- the 49ers don't want you no more"

Does that mean that they do want him?

I just report them, I don't interpret them, lol
That has placed more pressure on CK to make plays and he has been exposed. He has not shown the ability to pass from the pocket. He takes his eyes off the receivers to look at the rush. In a sense, his running skills are working against his development as a passer.
Harbaugh realizes this kid is never going to be any good. That's why there is speculation that he is going to bolt.

I agree with your post on most of the things. I disagree with a couple of things. One, if Harbaugh leaves it isn't going to be because of Kaep. Wasn't it Harbaugh that chose Kaep over Smith? Two, the OL hasn't been as effective running the ball because they pass so much. The easiest way to take the "nasty" out of an OL is to constantly ask them to play in retreat mode by pass blocking. I feel if they just emphasize the run game more then their OL will start playing better in that aspect of the game. There is no reason for their OL to not be dominant in the run game.
See y'all in about 15 years when you become title worthy again and you re-appear from your hibernation.
Good link! I liked the "you want thee turnover with those fries" and "move Crabtree, Sherman's open"

But that's Harbaugh's responsibility because he made the decision to switch from Alex Smith to Kaepernick
Be happy Niners of the past few years, but the division is slipping away from you.
That's your reality.
Bummer.
what their GM's daughter tweets about is not one of them.
This down year is probably good for rebuilding purposes and to look at long time Niner players with an objective eye instead of an emotional one (Gore, Vernon Davis, Iupati, Crabtree).
I'd like to see a new offensive coordinator and a real play made for AP. Gore used to be able to run effectively against 9 in the box, but no longer. Pre-Harbaugh the dude was sick and would have easily carried one of these Harbaugh teams to a Lombardi (even with Alex Smith). He's the only other RB in NFL history to have two 78+ yard TDs in one game (Barry Sanders is the other). His best NFL season was 1695 yards at over 5.0 YPC, back when the team had nobody on it (2006). Now he needs help to be effective, but can still be good in a secondary role.
Would be nice to get someone who can dominate from the running back position. Carlos Hyde has potential but is only really good from the read option right now. If he had Gore's vision he'd be awesome with his speed and power, but that ability takes time.
I personally think it's easier to fix the team around Kap than get a new QB. He needs help but so do about 28 other NFL QBs in this league.
The Niners made a mistake in thinking Kaep was ready to lead a 4 WR offense. They must embrace their power O identity, and just get a person who knows how to execute it better (would love Norv Turner back on the team).
Harbaugh can still coach but his offense is obsolete. Roman is to SF as Fewell is to NYG.
Both of these guys remaining on their respective teams will cause a lot of anger in the offseason. That's about the only thing I know with any real certainty.
