With an average oline and shit Rbs. Might want to make mention of that the next time you say something stupid.
Yeah it must be nice to have an average oline..its also nice when your defense makes a stop after you lead your team on a last minute TD drive...
He's a great QB but he doesn't have to be perfect for his team to win..
You should watch more games before you post stupid things..
They eked out that win against the Browns. For the Colts, Luck does kind of have to be near perfect to win, because they do have a shitty OL and a suspect defense.
There is no debate that Luck is a great QB but today
he didn't have a good game with a fumble recovered for a score and a pick 6..
And his suspect defense somehow held the other team to 10 points offensively..
What is the point behind the message though? Luck is on a different level. He will make mistakes every year of his career, just like every other QB. Are you stating the obvious? Or is there a deeper point?
This is not an 11 year vet.....this is just his third season, and he will have growing pains as well as come from behind wins......not to mention, he is throwing to Hakeem Nicks.....

You must not have watched the winning drive...he got great plays from Cromartie, Hilton and both TE's..not to mention his RB who had the great spin move to get the 1st down on 4th and 1 from the 6 yard line..
RE: RE: Luck fumbled four times against the Jaguars actually.
I think this whole deal is dumb, but that's not the game/opponent to point to, really, either.
Yup, and yet somehow managed a passer rating of 140 and threw for 4 TDs (with a 5th easy TD dropped by Fleener).
Oh yeah, and his team won the game easily.
Luck only threw for one TD against the Jags and his passer rating was a tick lower than Eli's against the same team
He did have better fumble recovery luck (Colts recovered 2/4), but still, four fumbles =/= near perfect and his team still crushed them, 23-3.
Again, I think this is overall a dumb exercise, but if you're going to partake, bringing up a common opponent in the Jags isn't the team to do it, at least not on most recent results.
Not to speak for JC, but I think his point was that Eli took a ton of shit for fumbling last week after getting crushed during the jailbreak. A common phrase being tossed around was that "good QB's don't do that".
Andrew Luck, universally viewed here as a future HOF'er already by the same people that were tossing that around, did the same thing under similar circumstances today.
Personally, I think any time there's a jailbreak and the QB gets crushed and fumbles, that's more on the O-line. However, people just love to pin everything on Eli regardless of circumstance, so it is interesting when it happens to other QB's that are universally revered here, as well.
Great QBs have shitty games. Luck, Peyton were really off and their teams won. Eli had a shitty ass throw this week and a shitty fumble last week.
One guy doesnt win/lose games nor will they ever.
The key phrase is Luck and Peyton can be really off and their teams can still win but Eli doesn't have that luxury..if he's really off the Giants have no chance..
My point is pretty simple..Luck had the luxury today of having a crappy game yet his team still won..
Did you watch the entire game? If you did...you would understand that Luck brought them back. Don't compare Luck and Eli....just don't get in to that
Actually I would compare Eli's ability to lead his team back with any QB in history..
As far as comparing him to Luck obviously different skill sets but both great QB's..
And while I did not watch the entire Colts game I did watch the last drive..as I said above I saw Luck do what great QB's do..and I saw OL's, WR's, TE's and RB's making plays to help him do it and then of course their defense sealed it at the end..

Yeah, and Luck didn't do it against the Jaguars. Whereas Eli and the rest of the offense managed to make them look like a good team.

This.
And dep would be the leader of the EDB. Sorry, Britt.
I think the thread, on it's own merits, is kind of silly though I do get the point JC was trying to make.
But the above is as true as anything I've seen written on here lately.
Ankle biters.
I don't like them.

Entertaining Distinguished Beauty?
That would be some good drugs and knowing my wife will be working when I get home.
