NFT: Refridgerator repair

Anyone know of someone who can repair refrigerators and come on a Saturday to do it? I had my uncle take a look at it and he said it's not the compressor that is broken so he said it would be worth repairing. Any roccemendatiosn would be appreciated. I am in bergen county, nj. Thanks

Assuming you have power to it. Are the coils underneath the fridge clean?

Underneath for dust build up, especially if you have pets. You would be surprised at what can get sucked underneath and block airflow. If it's not running chk the start solonoid / relay. See if you can remove it and shake it, if you hear rattling it's bad. Even with no rattle could still be bad. This is where an ohm meter comes in and little more knowledge of troubleshooting.
