with her being in the news recently with her new album, we had a discussion at work on how we would rank her with other celebrities.
Room was pretty split 50/50 with half the people saying she's too rail thin with no curves at all. While the other half saying she was stunning and looked way better than some supermodels at the Victoria Secret fashion show last week.
As always, curious to hear BBI's input on these topics. How would you guys rate Taylor Swift?

But she's built like an 8 year old boy
What's the problem then?

Brett's going to be twice as pissed because we're making fun of his fantasy woman and Ronnie just stole his thunder on that score.
Well, that and see how much money I could get her to give me.
And then see if I could get royalties from the top 10 single she writes about our "relationship", "Daddy, why are you so mean?"
Second. Do people thinks she's really, talented? Or I guess more specifically, does anyone think the music she releases reflects the talent she has? When I heard all the hype about this new album I actually thought it was going to be something different, but it was the same teenie bopper shit as last time.
I have no issue with her or her music. It's pop music and kids like it, much like they have for a half century now. By all accounts she seems to be a good kid and makes music that young girls (and Brett) enjoy.
Again.. this obsession alludes me.
But I'm gonna guess anyway that her target market is 12 year old girls. You don't need to be walking around Williamsburg with a waxed mustache and top hat to hazard that.

Her target market could be changing if there's any truth to the rumors that she and Victoria's Secret model Karlie Kloss are having long-legged scissor sessions in their shared apartment.
I think we're all in the target demo for that sort of thing.
While the country music community has come around to supporting unmarried sex and even one-night stands in many dozens of songs, there seems to be a requirement that they be non-negotiably inter-gender.

I doubt that. She has been trying to downplay her country "roots" for some time and has ticked off a lot of the contemporary country stations in the meantime. I think it has more to do with her trying to make more money off of broad-based entertainment than just the country charts.

I might be completely wrong...this girl might be a genius.

And then when they break up, we get a Swift version of "You Oughta Know"

her music is catered to young girls. I'm surprised BBI doesn't have any. Her music is simple and forget the quality of it, I'd just be pleased that my daughters weren't listening to Lady Gaga or the Australian lady that tries to sound like she is from the streets of New York. Her name escapes me at the moment.

Yep. And she sounds like trash.
While there are better singers out there, I don't think there are very many entertainers out there currently that are putting as good as a show/concert as what she's doing.
The marketing of her brand and the social media aspects of reaching out to her fans are bar none the best in the music business today.
I don't like anything I've heard from her, and I agree that her musical talent loses some relevance to me when it's applied towards the creation of pretty vapid music. It's similar to how I'm surprised by how often people rave about Bruno Mars being talented.
She's pretty cute, though.
That's Taylor Swift.

If I don't care now (which I don't), odds are looking mighty strong that I will care less as time goes by, particularly since some other blonde girl whose name I won't know will replace Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande (and I literally have absolutely no idea who she is, never heard the name before this thread).
2. This is Ariana Grande:
Thank you. She's the best.
I'm told I also look 14 years old, so...
She does look young, though.
Taylor Swift's the best.
You'll like her better than Danzig.
Big Glenn Danzig cannot be replaced.
