for a team that lost 6 straight and now won 2 against their fellow dregs of the NFL
Worried about what? What's the worst that can happen? We lose? Big deal.
The Rams last two wins have come at the expense of the Raiders and Redskins, and they only scored six points against Arizona with Lindley at QB.
I'd say it's an even match up. I want to break their three game streak of not allowing a TD. Their D-line is a good barometer to see where our O-line is at.
Win, lose, doesn't really matter. Just improve.

this rams front 7 is every bit as good as the SF/SEA front 7s of the last few.
michael brockers, robert quinn, chris long, aaron donald, james laurinaitis, alec ogletree and janoris jenkins on the same defense is nasty with tons of speed. jenkins and laurinaitis extremely underrated
and riding a wave - have not allowed a touchdown in 3 games. 100% healthy. sound, aggressive scheme that has given eli fits in the past.
in real time - the best defense we have faced this year and it will b impressive if our offense plays well
my impression of the Giants is that they lack a hard tough nose ability to beat anyone, no physicality. Will be interesting to see how they look against a Jeff Fischer team that is very physical. Should tell us a few things.
getting really hurt. There will be no running game and they will be blizing almost all game.
And Eli will be most vulnerable if the team does the run, run, pass on 3rd and long offense. The ram's front 7 will just obliterate the Giant's O-line in that scenario.
Between Fisher and Lewis, there's a long history of not just physical play, but dirty play as well.
Mixed with the Giants issues on the OL and overall lack of anyone to even slightly take some of the load odd Beckham, this game has potential disaster written all over it.
If things get ugly early, this is one time where I'd applaud tossing Nassib and Olgletree to the wolves.
Surprised Boston Fox did not flex the Dallas game....
As for this game:
"they only scored six points against Arizona with Lindley at QB."
I didn't know that Lindley played defense...
This offense should be ready for this pass rush with quick hitters......
The Rams offense sucks with Hill at qb....if the Giant defense can stop the Ram running game and force Hill to win, the defense should be in good shape....
Eli will be getting a rush....he can't force things....take what he is given, and make good decisions...if the Giants don't make mistakes, they should win this one....
Eli will be fine. The guy has never missed a game is probably one of
To describe the Giants attitude towards the offensive line. They spent their first round pick on a tackle, came back and selected the top center prospect in the draft, and signed the top guard prospect in free agency. It may have been to little to late, but its not like they've ignored the line. The giants had problems all over, not just on the offensive line.

The problem is the philosophy. Reese and Ross tried to ride the original 5 out except age, injury and degradation of talent hurt us. In the mean time, we drafted mid round developmental project guys. The theory Iam guessing is to develop them, so when eventually our guys did retire one by one, those developmental guys could slide right in.
However, that didn't play out. Our guys left us for the reasons above, and in the meantime, no one developed. So that fucked us. So then everything compiled. You can't execute a 5 and 7 drop system if your guys can't run block or pass block. That's just the OL. If you factor injury to WR and RB then that's a formula for an epic shit show.
We signed a guard, but our bad luck the guy is useless in year 1. We need a lot more talent everyone on offense is what it comes down to. On top of that we need depth because our guys suck. We have big time issues on offense.
me too. Watch Fisher blitz at the Walton/Jerry duo

Eli's health. I should have included that

But....Let's kick butt GIANTS!!!!!!!
True, but our OLine looked a helluva lot better than the Eagles and Native Americans did yesterday.
Eli vs pressure
Odell vs pressure
Let's see exactly how much we've improved.

I don't see where they have improved or could have improved. It is the same players, except maybe Pugh is healthier?
Just have to hope Eli survives.

Me too. I agree but I'm just running along with the narrative of beating 2 piss poor team suddenly turns off the hot seat for the coaching staff.
Think so. Great DL against our lousy OL = not a good matchup for us. Walton and Jerry against their DL is a nightmare.
Looking forward to the game.
GO GIANTS !!!
