Merry X Mas to all. 2800 for Rudd forced hot air furnace in 1500 sq ft house am I getting robbed?
Probably

not. I assume that price also includes removing the old furnace.

Almost five years ago, I spent $2,500 for an 80% AFUE rated Carrier furnace for a five bedroom house that was a lot bigger than 1,500 square feet.
If that is installed..

had AC/Furnace replace a couple of years ago. Check to see if the furnace you are getting qualifies for an energy rebate from the state.
YES

My furnace just shit the bed and I replaced it, the AC A coil, and the AC condenser (all 21 years old and original to the house) for just about $7k. The furnace price alone was just about $2600.
Is a Lennox worth it?

We need another furnace to finish the basement, and the other is a Lennox. I was told its about $500 more, and wasn't told why. Get a different brand or pay the $500?
