but two guys not named Manning get hurt here, and it's justification for the team to go right into the shitter, I think they get a pass for starting half a season with Sanchez.
And today's Dallas game was the steak through the hearts of all of those imbred Philly fans!
Good! Fuck them all!
I hope Big Blue beats the breaks off of those douchbags next week!
the reaction from its fans. From talking to my friends, who are Eagles fans (I know, I hate myself for having so many Eagles fan friends), there are definitely two camps:
One group believes that the season tanked because of Sanchez and believe that with a better QB (Foles), they would have won the division and would be a contender in the playoffs.
The other group believes that Chip Kelly is to be blamed and want to run him out of town. They seem to believe that the league has gotten used to his offense and sees him as a mediocre coach at best, who no longer can surprise the other teams with the offensive tempo.
Of course, the reactions are very much like how the Giants fans have reacted all season to why/how we've fallen so hard.
I have too many eagles fan friends as well. I was arguing that if Chip Kelly decides to modify his approach be can be successful long term. He's smart and willing to be different.
The problem is, the general feeling is that he thinks he already knows all of the answers and won't change.
Here Chip, have a specialized, delicious smoothie.

Behind the counter is the SuperBowl nazi.
No Super Bowl for you. Next?
As much fun as it might have been had we gotten the chance to knock them out, the schadenfraude is especially sweet regardless.
Suck it philly.

Will this be getting its own apology thread? Or was that apology meant to cover the week?

C'Mon ... Give them a break ... The Eagles are very close to a Super Bowl trophy ... about 90 miles north ...
