I always questioned the attitude toward football and if he gave it his full effort. I didn't want to sign him. I'm glad we did. Watching him in the preseason was amazing. He looked like he was walking on defense and was contesting every ball. He was just moving at a different speed than everybody else.
points in his career, but he's a pretty average sized DB so that's to be expected. The main knock on him has always been inconsistent effort, but he's trying on this team.
I am going through the back problem now. I have 4 vertebral fractures, due to osteoporosis. I couldn't imagine having something like this and play football. Alot of people that have not had back problems don't understand the pain level. If Cromartie's back was that bad I feel for him.
I walked with a limp or a hitch for two months prior to surgery. Getting in and out of the car it felt like someone was digging a screw driver into my piriformis (hip area) -- my lower back region actually wasn't bad at all. Leg and piriformis brutal pain.
And yes, and I promise you I handled it like much more of a wimp than DRC has.
