The Official Good Win or 'Bad' Win thread......

Planet X : 12/21/2014 7:29 pm
I know in the past few weeks that there have been people hoping that the Giant lose out so they could get a real high draft pick but others say if you are a TRUE Giant fan you NEVER want the Giants to lose. Well I am going to list the three most positive things about the current Giant winning streak and the three worst things about their winning streak. The three positives are 1/ Rueben Randall might still be the player we want him to be. 2/It seems like this year's draft might not have any sure shot Hall of Famers 3/We might have found a couple of player in Darka and Wynn....thanks to injuries to other players. The three negatives are 1/Fewwell most likely is staying 2/This game really reminds me a lot of last year's game in the end of the season against Detroit, we beat them.....but look at our record now and look at Detroit's record now......and they Kicked our butts in the season opener this year as oppose to LAST YEARS ABSOLUTELY MEANINGLESS GAME FOR US! 3/In this winning streak we have learned that OBJ is like 90 percent of our offense...GOD FORBID anything ever happens to him!!! What do you people say.....

In theory, this was a good win because the offense looked great

against real competition, continuing their rebound from arguably being the worst offense in the NFL, and the defense was mostly an undisciplined mess with only a few bright spots, making it less likely they retain Fewell.
What ever Coughlin lit under

Randle ass worked. He looked really good this week. Maybe, just maybe the light in Randle's head turned on.
if the "bad win" people wanna root for Philthy next week

Now let's beat Philly and get the 12th pick in the draft again next year.
people are too quick to discount the experience

guys like OBJ, Williams, Parker, Wynn, Richburg, Pugh and some others are getting in these games. Those guys contributing to wins right now makes us better next year

Win, they were almost excellent on offense, defense made some stops and was not totally abused. The special teams had a block and little return but they did not impact the game really.
this would be a bad win if we hadnt won 2 straight before this
CGiants07 : 12/21/2014 7:57 pm : link
no major difference between 7-12 for me. if we had a chance at top 5 id have been upset but as bad as we are there are a bunch of teams much worse than us.

Thread is fine, though didn't much care for the 3 "negatives". Don't see what the Lions game has to do with anything.
Yeah

Who wants to see Eli and this offense build towards something special....

Just stop
I know it hurts draft position

but this was a legitimately good win. Remember the Rams beat both Seattle and Denver in their building and went 3 straight games without giving up a TD. So to see the offense put up 37 on them (including Andre Williams going for 100+ and OBJ and Randle with 100+ receiving yards) is pretty solid.

This was the first time in 2 years where the Giants looked like a legit upper-tier football team
