just wanted to point out that for a team that has shown an extreme inability to pass block or run block (according to any advanced metrics from FO or PFF)
...or provide any type of competent running game
...or keep most of its key players healthy this season
that the media's favorite QB to dismiss is # 6 in QBR - - only being that low in the first place due to 1 clunker - - behind 5 guys going to the playoffs for 1st place teams.
oh and on top of it, he was forced to learn an entirely new system after being in an old complex one for the last decade+
...and lost his # 1 WR 6 weeks into the season.
he did most of this relying on a rookie WR and a bunch of JAGS that those who don't play fantasy will have never even heard of.
ever wonder what his career #'s would've been like if he had been in a QB-friendly system this entire past decade? it's very easy to play MMQB and read box scores and count INTs with no context.
yet he still has 2 rings and has proven pretty clearly that he's among the elite QBs in the league bar none.
we've had another subpar year and ODB has gotten a ton of love (rightfully so), but just wanted to throw some props to the rock of this franchise.
excited for year Eli year 12 in 2015.
lol
i hope in 2015 we continue to seek that type of play, week in week out.
