Playoffs, whose your favorite to win?

giantgiantfan : 12/22/2014 2:36 pm
I think its going to be Dallas / Seahawks in the NFC championship. Dallas has the best chance of anyone in the NFC to beat the Seahawks, but I think they are going to be tough to beat in again in Seattle.

In the AFC its the Patriots. I don't see anyone there being better than that team. I knows its not earth shattering picking the two top seeds, but I think they are the best teams in the NFL right now.

I think Seattle vs New England could be a pretty good super bowl.
Green Bay vs Pittsburgh

Green Bay has not looked good. I question their ability to be productive on offense against good defenses. How can that offense go into Seattle and win? I'd much rather Green Bay be the team though.

Pittsburgh has been gritty, but I don't see them beating New England or Denver for that matter.
My first thought was

Green Bay vs Pittsburgh
Seahawks and Packers are the class of the NFC

Patriots and Broncos in the AFC. I'm hoping for a Packers - Broncos Superbowl.
how can Packers go to Seattle and win?

i'm just rooting for Dallas to lose
I think GB's offense will give Seattle
The Natural : 12/22/2014 2:45 pm : link
fits.....Obviously very talented at QB, with very good receivers and a great RB.
Anybody as long as its not the Cowboys or Pats...

Wouldn't that be something.
Seattle vs NE/DEN
GIANTSr01 : 12/22/2014 2:49 pm : link
Don't count out Detroit though. Their offense is getting healthy and their D has been strong. Currently the #2 seed as well.
Seattle-Denver

Seattle - New England if I had to guess
Optimus-NY : 12/22/2014 2:51 pm : link
I'm rooting for Denver to get back to the SB though. Dallas won't get past the Divisional Round. Romo won't let 'em, lol.

You just sent out the MOM signal. Be prepared for a 20 paragraph defense of the great Romo...
Packers

Patriots.

Lol
I think it's going to be Seattle v. New England...
BillKo : 12/22/2014 2:57 pm : link
...from a rooting perspective, rooting against Dallas and New England.

Would be funny to see Detroit get there (or AZ).....and a team like Cinncy.

Seattle - New England
Would love to see Detroit get to the SB,
giantgiantfan : 12/22/2014 3:02 pm : link
I thought they had a shot against Seattle a few weeks ago, but they have not looked good on offense the last few weeks. That Detroit / GB game will be a damn good one to watch next week. Detroit could really use that bye to get healthy and straightened out.
Detroit vs Cincy
Vin R : 12/22/2014 3:05 pm : link
lolz
AZ would be awful
GIANTSr01 : 12/22/2014 3:07 pm : link
great D, but that would likely be the worst QB play in the history of the SB

They till have a shot with Stanton
Stanton is still garbage
GIANTSr01 : 12/22/2014 3:10 pm : link
he's at least NFL backup quality though, which is a lot more than you can say about their other options.
tough for me to see it be something other than

SEA v. NE

i'd say its likely Dallas will have to beat both NFC north teams to get to Seattle...(assuming things play out as expected next week)

ideally DET or GB offenses can go to town on the Boys.
I put a futures bet on Indy to win the Super Bowl
BlackLight : 12/22/2014 3:39 pm : link
the other day at 22-1. Not feeling great about it now.
I think
Johnny5 : 12/22/2014 3:43 pm : link
Seahawks def Dallas in NFC Champ
NE def Denver in AFC Champ

Seattle repeats.
Seattle is on a roll again
Bill in UT : 12/22/2014 3:44 pm : link
I wouldn't bet against them
Seattle vs Pittsburgh
illmatic : 12/22/2014 3:45 pm : link
I really liked GB to come out of the NFC a few weeks ago but Seattle has looked too damn good lately. They're hitting their stride again at the right time. Lots of contenders in the AFC but I'm not totally sold on the Pats and I question Denver with their little injuries that add up. Pittsburgh has looked pretty strong throughout the year and their offense can be dominant at times.
I don't think anyone is close to NE
pjcas18 : 12/22/2014 3:47 pm : link
really, for them to play as bad as they did yesterday on the road and win is a bad sign.

They sat Edelman and Connolly and played like garbage.

They'll lock up home field next week and instead of like last year having to of to Denver for the Championship game it will be in New England and it will make all the difference in the world.

If Seattle loses HFA in the NFC and gets knocked off, no NFC team can beat NE in a neutral site. It will be a sad day for me, when Brady wins ring #4 and Belichick has to rename his boat.
Probably SEA and NE
NYerInMA : 12/22/2014 3:52 pm : link
But my preference would be anyone but Dallas or the Pats. Hate both of those teams with the fire of a thousand suns.
the cowboys
Chuck Q : 12/22/2014 5:01 pm : link
will challenge Seattle for the NFC. sorry... just a realistic observation.
Det?
Marty866b : 12/22/2014 5:02 pm : link
I see no way Stafford goes into Seattle and beats them. I don't see anyone going into Seattle and beating them. I think it's a crapshoot in the AFC with NE,Den.and Pitt. The Steeler offense is scary with Rothlisberger,Brown, and Bell all being as good as anyone at their position today in the NFL. I just don't know if they can win two road games?
I would love it if it was the Lions or Green Bay on NFC side
mattlawson : 12/22/2014 5:41 pm : link
Peyton on the AFC side.

I like what Seattle is doing, respect them - but if we couldn't get a repeat in 2008 as clearly the best team in the league than they can't.
I hate Dallas
Chris in San Diego : 12/22/2014 6:12 pm : link
sooooo much.....but the running game that they have is built to win playoff games....
I hate Dallas
RobCarpenter : 12/22/2014 6:44 pm : link
But they are for real.

I think it's Dallas/NE.
Of course Dallas
The Turk : 12/22/2014 6:49 pm : link
already went into Seattle and beat them last month
probably won't happen again

The first 7-8-1 team to win the Superbowl.

Book it.
Seattle

Vs New England and Brady goes down in the desert again.

blakjedi : 12/23/2014 5:31 am : link
the least evil is seattle...
