The last three games offensive stats

Archer : 12/22/2014 7:50 pm
While the games were against questionable defenses it is still encouraging to note the individual and team accomplishments.

Eli Manning has been the third rated quarterback during the last three games;
QB Rating (111.7- #3) Comp (74-#7) Comp.% (68.5-# 8) Y/G (300.3 #5) Passing TD (7-#2) INT (1)

Odell Beckham Jr. was the highest rated receiver during the last three games.
OBJ was first in Yards, Receptions, and Tds.
Rec (31- #1) Yards (421- #1) Y/G (140.3- #1) Average / Rec (13.6) TD's (6- #1)

Andre Williams also demonstrated promise with the sixth highest rushing yards.
Rushing Yards (285-#6)

I hope that these performances portend good things for next year.

Are not a questionable D. They are a very good D that went 12 quarters without giving up a TD. Only allowing 7 points to Peyton and the great Broncos offense.

I agree that makes the stats even more impressive.
Our O has played awesome

The last few weeks. Hopefully everything has clicked for the guys. Randle, Beckham, Williams, Donnell, Parker, Washington should all mature next year. Hopefully we get a healthy Cruz and Jennings back and our O could be very scary.
Next year's offense

The Giants offense could be very good with some tweaking.If the Giants could add ;

a quality guard or tackle along with line depth
a reliable TE that can block
a tall physical (x) receiver
a third down back.

We have two of the four. We have a tall physical X in Corey Washington. Now, he has a lot of growing to do with learning the game but he can have his place in the offense. This shouldn't stop us from trying to upgrade the position though.

Our third down back is Jennings. He is perfect for that role. However, we need more running back depth. Instead of a "third down back" because that has different meanings to people. I think we need a Darren Sproles type. A guy that is just explosive and can hurt you in both the passing game and run game. Wilson would have been awesome in this offense. What a shame but I am glad he walked away too early rather than too late.
