Eli's done pretty well this season, but made a bad pass just now. Really, who cares. It happens, our draft position is a little better, pretty good game all around.

Can't be too bummed about the loss.

Already looking forward to next season! Actually looking forward to the offseason too.

This is the case. It is Eli's fault, he threw it. But is was a big boy throw and he could not step into it due to pressure.

When was the last time a Giant safety made a play like that?

just hope he's willing to be paid in line with his inconsistency and let us put a bit more talent around him.

If he's looking for a record breaking contract, we may have no choice but to pay him, but we won't have enough space left to put together a winning team.

So based on him being a total team player his whole career you think he will be looking for a record breaking contract...?

Also possible. If they draw the safety to the middle, Randle is open for a touchdown there.
You throw the ball 53 times, especially with no run game, you're

How does being a team player equate to not wanting to get paid? He was the highest paid player in the NFL last year...3rd this year.

Those are cap numbers.

The AAV of Eli's existing deal was/is $16.2M, which leaves him way back in the QB pack; anything beyond that is because of the Giants' accounting and not because of what he's actually getting paid.

And you always have something to say when anyone else on offense screws up. Bottom line is Eli has to carry offense cause they can't run for shit . Today Eli left too many plays on the field. Let's hope they can add quality on the oline and this offense will really hum.

I just re-watched the INT 4 times, I'm more convinced now its on the TE Fells. He gets bumped and drifts inside instead of going straight as Allen. Thus making it possible for Allen to jump the pass.

Again. Bird-dogging again. It's the line I know. It's never Eli. It's injuries. It's officials. It's a great way to end another disappointing season, but thankfully we are a team that values consistency and does not react impulsively. So it will be a rerun next year because of a three game winning streak against mediocre teams with backup QBs. Just like last year. The disasters against Dallas, Philly, Indy and SF, Arizona, Detroit and Seattle were only mirages--not real. Beating Houston and Tenn. and the Rams is what counts.

I hope those who feel the future is now are correct, but we had this conversation last year too, after pounding the bottomfeeders.

Eli is expecting the TE to draw the safety inside which would have left Randle wide fucking open. He had pressure up in his face, and he took a shot. Oh well, didn't work. We get a better pick.

one way or another. It has to do with the Giants' accounting and number crunching.

Mannings generally do whatever is best for themselves, so I have no idea about what he would or would not take, but holding up something he has little to do with him, outside of his agreeing to restructure in previous years when they asked him to, makes no sense.

Eli threw into coverage all day. He has for a couple of weeks. He is a streaky QB and he has many positive qualities, but sometimes it is his fault. Hopefully the better pick is an offensive lineman to give him more time in the pocket.
