We do suffer from lack of talent on the Defense in some spots

I thought the same until FOX showed another angle from behind the defense that showed it was a shoulder
45 yards. This seems to be the theme every game. Then we will break a 40-45 yard run and the YPC skyrockets. We are consistently in the 2-3 YPC over huge stretches of the game.

You can see what happens when we play a team that is not at the bottom of the league. It is not so easy is it? We cannot run the ball. O-line gets nervous and starts to play like shit. The defending corners play a little tighter which means Eli's throws need to be on the money every time.
Basically, we are a one man show on offense right now.
We can move up over 4 positions in the draft. So what do we wish for??

That assumes you are ok with Beatty on the OL. I am not. I dont want to make it to the playoffs have Eli throw a game winning TD in the waning momments only to have it called back for a holding penalty on Beatty.

But in the 4th or when it counts most they will fail spectacularl.
The difference, as is often the case - is that the Eagles O is the stronger unit, yet our defense did a reasonable job with them while our O has only put up 19 points.
I don't think Fewell should return (it's time for change) but I think people give the O waaaaay too much slack. They're underperforming, especially given the resources allocated and the quality of the competition.
For the past few seasons this team has generally appeared to not give a shit for long stretches, so it's nice to see some swagger out there for the Gmen
It's not been pretty and likely still isn't enough to win, but they've scored 26 and put up 420 yards of offense, with 8 minutes still to go, in comparison to how they were shamed by a shut out with the other game plan.

I just re-watched the INT 4 times, I'm more convinced now its on the TE Fells. He gets bumped and drifts inside instead of going straight as Allen. Thus making it possible for Allen to jump the pass.
Again. Bird-dogging again. It's the line I know. It's never Eli. It's injuries. It's officials. It's a great way to end another disappointing season, but thankfully we are a team that values consistency and does not react impulsively. Eli threw into coverage all day. He has for a couple of weeks. He is a streaky QB and he has many positive qualities, but sometimes it is his fault. Hopefully the better pick is an offensive lineman to give him more time in the pocket.

They have allowed Defenseless player calls go bye, a bunch of face mask calls not made, and late hits on both OBJ and Eli today.

The difference, as is often the case - is that the Eagles O is the stronger unit, yet our defense did a reasonable job with them while our O has only put up 19 points.
I don't think Fewell should return (it's time for change) but I think people give the O waaaaay too much slack. They're underperforming, especially given the resources allocated and the quality of the competition.

I just re-watched the INT 4 times, I'm more convinced now its on the TE Fells. He gets bumped and drifts inside instead of going straight as Allen. Thus making it possible for Allen to jump the pass.

Eli threw into coverage all day. He has for a couple of weeks. He is a streaky QB and he has many positive qualities, but sometimes it is his fault. Hopefully the better pick is an offensive lineman to give him more time in the pocket.
