Team will have effectively fired the three major coordinators but let Coughlin stay. Interesting. I think the emergence of OBJ and the way the Giants played at the end of the season saved TC and Reese's jobs. If OBJ does not have arguably the biggest impact of any rookie since Randy Moss, Giants probably go 4-12

The choice of the next DC and special teams coaches are huge decisions. A quick Spags signing is uninspiring at best - I predict we will see more of the same inconsistency if he is the choice

Even in the good years Coughlins teams have been too inconsistent and streaky I would have preferred a clean break

after a 10-6 season and look what a mess they are in now. Jerry Jones didn't fire Garrett after a string of disappointing, non-playoff years. They changed the D coordinator, changed their offensive approach, and are poised to make a run. It's a lot easier to blow everything up. Putting it together, not so much.

Perfect sense. I never thought at any point this season that either Reese or TC would be gone.

We went from "broken offense" to 10th in the league.

From what we have seen so far from the early picks, we picked up some players last draft. I'm thinking Reese needs another good draft this season also to stay onboard

I have really come to love TC who seems to be a terrific person. But, as Les wrote, TC teams are consistently inconsistent. If Fewell is gone, it will be at least three years overdue. I simply don't understand why TC would allow the defense to suck for five seasons.

So, I'm happy for TC to get another run but I'm weary of the inconsistency we've had to endure since TC took over.

I never expected JR to be in trouble. He's at least going to be allowed to pick a HC of his own so I expect him to be with us for a good many more years.

that much confidence, even at full strength, to consider bringing him back? I mean it's not just a one year glitch, this has been going on for far too many years now. Far too many missed assignments, miscommunications and poor fundamentals. What could they possibly be thinking? TC's loyalties are admirable, but can he really think Fewell is the guy to turn this defense around?! Really? Fewell's defenses here have been consistently in the bottom 3rd of the league, with the exception of one year and that was an aberration IMO; overinflated stats against back up QBs.

But he's on his 3rd OC and I think this will be his 5th DC, if Perry is indeed fired. I can't think of to many head coaches who get to have that over such a long period of time.
