You know Halak is the reason for your good half season and once he gets hurt, gets tired, which he always does, you're back to Uniondale?
If Halak is the only reason for our good half season then how come the Islanders are at the top of the league in 5 v 5 Fenwick-close (a metric that doesn't involve goalies and has done a great job at predicting post-season success over the past few years)?
To me this is the biggest reason the Islanders are where they are right now. Destroychuk! This just maybe the best trade a NHL GM has made all year.
