Basically, its an app on your phone that brings up profiles of women (or men) who are around you. You can swipe left (approve them) or right (reject them) based on their pictures and short description.
If you both accept eachother, then it puts you in touch with eachother via text messaging.

How does anyone go for stuff like this? It's the internet, what are the chances that the hot blonde in the picture you swipe doesn't end up looking like Murray from the Odd Couple?

I would stare at the phone for an hour go back and forth when I had to call a girl the first time. If pick up start to dial and hang up before I finished dialing. Rinse and repeat for an eternity. Now? I'd be in heaven, just clicking on a freaking app.

You'd be surprised. Tinder is huge and works pretty much exactly as advertised. it pulls the pictures from your Facebook page. I've actually had some friends who have met their GFs on Tinder (and a lot more who have gotten some one night stands out of it).
I remember being on Spring Break in Ft. Lauderdale and there was a club called Area Code 305. Every table was numbered and there was a telephone on each one. There was an operator who would connect you to another table so you could chat up girls that you saw and liked. You could do so with or without telling what table you were calling from. You could also have the operator make announcements over the PA system to girls at other tables. Some of the announcements were hilarious. It was all kinds of awesome.

She definitely does look like a trashbag, though!

By the way, ladies, it's not an accomplishment to fuck a famous athlete.
