is a saint. A friggin saint. He's got the best videos, including a compilation of all the Fox studio guys picking against the Giants in every game in the 2007 playoffs. They all picked Tampa Bay!
that's the same guy who used to post as SGM something and he had the great LT videos. I emailed him a few weeks back and he's sending me a new batch of old games from the mid 2000s which I only had on DVR but never saved. His old site got nuked by the NFL lawyers. So he's going to see how long this will be around until it's blown away.

That 4th quarter 2008 Pittsburgh comeback posted here recently was his i think, and he's got a treasure trove of LT stuff.
This guy would win us a Super Bowl or two. I remember I was at Baileys in Ballston mall watching this. And in my head I said exactly everything we needed to happen to win and I believed they could do it. And they accomplished everything I had thought.
Random thoughts - Tiki was a good receiver (although he drops the first one) - there is a Tim Carter sighting in there - Eli and Toomer both made great plays on the touchdown - and the old stadium looks sweet!
as I recall was for Tuck and the Giants and Broncos would swap first round picks. Fortunately, the Giants doctors did their homework and flunked him with the neck problem. It also bolstered the idea that Shanahan was looking to dump damaged goods on the Giants. Most fortunate was Wilson, who never played again and was spared what could have been a devastating injury. The Giants would sign Kawika Mitchell from KC and it was the best non-trade in Giants history.
My family and I were at a restaurant surrounded by Bronco fans, that day. They were so excited because they knew they had an unbeatable team; then the unspeakable happened.
I didn't say a word, just smiled to myself.
One of the great wins of the early Coughlin/Eli era
I remember the NFL films version of that drive had this wonderful voice over. Something to the effect of: "In the Eli Manning era, much will be expected, because anything seems possible"
I remember my buddy yelling at some guy with a horse head on all day long... Anyway when we won the horse head ended
up on the ground in sec 103... The Bronco fan threw it down all pissed off... Great comeback, and even though it led to nothing that year. It was a great win over a big favorite. Man we play spoilers well.
Is that it was actually Eli's mobility of all things that probably played the biggest role. That first 3rd down conversion to Burress happened all because Eli bought time with his legs. Same with the TD pass to Toomer to cap the drive.
Eli probably still finds a way to make it happen today but there's no way those particular plays are ever a part of it.
Great memories. And the bulging eyeballs on Shanahan!
What I mean is that you have a series of catches where each player sells out for the play and just what it gives you, no more, no less.
No looking for the yards after catch heroics, no 'it was not lined up right for the yacs so I just dropped it'...just a complete and total sell out for what the play had, catch, fall down if need be, get the yards...then back to the huddle without any fancy dancing bullshit. 2 defenders? fine, catch and get down.
even shocky, he sees the play, makes the catch...and allows his momentum to get him out of bounds....no biggie, that catch was huge.
say what you will, but if a player is YACs focussed prior to the catch...that has got to lower the percentages...it must.
I am not saying forgo the YACs...not saying dont draw then in...its an attitude, a point of emphasis.

Or am I just making that up?

Anyone have a picture of that hit?
