NFT: Westminster Kennel Club -Meet the Breeds - Pier 92 - 2/14/15

Has anyone attended this event? Seems like a cool thing to do if you are a dog lover. This year, for the first time, they are also holding an Agility Competition next door at Pier 94 as well.

Any information anyone has would be appreciated.

at MSG years ago. As a bench show you could walk about the grooming area and review the dogs and talk to handlers, but it was quite crowded and rather awkward. I'm sure this new Meet the Breeds event is much more fan-friendly.

If you are contemplating getting a dog or just enjoy them, it's a fun and educational atmosphere. Be sure, of course, to watch Christopher Guest's Best in Show before attending!

was a U.S Navy Receiving station in WW II, post Pearl Harbor, for navy enlisted men in transit from station to station or ship to ship.
Before that it was one of the New York City piers for the transatlantic trade especially for the big passenger liners.
It was not a Cunard pier, but may have been a French Line pier.
