I saw a video interview Francesa did (Newsday I think?) and he looked pretty moved by the entire thing. Good job by him embracing this as i'd imagine it was hard for him to parse how much of this was genuinely in his honor vs. making fun of him.

Nope. I like a very vast array of music, from alternative rock, electronic, hardcore, deep house, techno, pop punk, jazz, and some hip hop. I'm confident enough in my taste to admit it when I find a pop song ridiculously catchy. The guitar chords in TGIF get me ever ytime, and the prechorus strings on Firework are very well written and well placed.
You know, it's not that crazy to enjoy good pop songs now and then - for example, who could hate Call Me Maybe?
Conversely, I never really liked or enjoyed Taylor Swift songs.
