Multiple sources say teams have inquired about Prigioni. The Knicks asking price is reportedly a 2nd. My guess is they have already been offered a 2nd with stips or a long time for now and are trying to land an asset "sooner".

chucking up 3s, playing suspect defense, and getting beat by a backdoor cut AGAIN. I've never seen one player fall for that same shit 1,000 times.

Very weird seeing Shump in a different uniform and even weirder seeing Mozgov about to get into a fight with Kendrick Perkins. Kid's not as soft as he used to be.

badly want Monroe on the Knicks. He's not the perfect player but he'd be fantastic in the triangle given his smarts/hands. He's a plus rebounder, he'll be 25 years old, he's unselfish (important with Melo).

but need to put a really good defensive center next to him if you want to truly compete.

Okafor is not a fit with him. Okafor is a really, really bad defensive player. Still would take him #1 but his ceiling is limited

A true building block. Not a franchise player, I get that but even if you give him max money barring a career ending injury you are signing an ascending player likely not even in his prime. I have no doubt Monroe has 17-19 per game with 10-11 boards per game in him. As it is he already grabs 10 per night next to another elite rebounder. I see a player on the rise. He's my guy, really hope that's the plan. I know Marc Gasol is a great player but in a lot of ways Monroe makes more sense Gasol will be 30 next season, Monroe 25.

ideal off-season is signing Monroe, one of their second tier guys and Biyombo. I think Biyombo would be the PERFECT fit next to Monroe and Melo. I realize he's not going to be a pick and pop Bill Wennington but good look finding a plus defensive 5 that also has offensive game.

i mean he is one of those guys who when he came out everyone said he is "raw" and a "project" but as usual after a couple ehh seasons he starts being looked at as a bust even though everyone knew he would take time.

Galloway by today. Apparently they are hesitant to give him guaranteed money for next season. I get we want to save capspace but i think ive seen enough that id be ok giving him 500K or so guaranteed. A ghost hold is 500K anyway so its not really costing you anything. The post article says 800K, but i bet we could do 800K with like 500K guaranteed or something like that.
