if we already had another starting quality OG and OT already signed? We all feel Beatty, Pugh, Richburg and Schwartz would be a solid group on the line. We need a solid OG and or OT to round the group out. I still have a hope that Eric Herman is able to step up and be another Chris Snee type OG. He is definitely an upgrade over Jerry in the run game and he has yet to play a down in a game. Michael Bamiro who was signed to a futures contract, looks impressive on paper but, he was cut by the Eagles after spending a little over a year on their PS as an OT. The guy didn't sit and wait for a team to call, he started working out to improve his conditioning and technique. I found this article on him, if he is committed, he could turn out to be an incredible find!
If we could rely on those two to make that jump, it changes the dynamics in FA and the draft. The Giants could then focus more on the D, including S, CB and LB.

If everyone is healthy the OL is one starter away from fielding a well rounded unit. The running backs could use another talent there as well.
Herman is another Petrus
Plus "The Hermanator" is an awesome moniker. So there's that!
Get it straight Dandy Don.
Beatty did not have a great year...it was average...about what you would expect from him....
Schwartz sucked before he got hurt...hopefully he plays better at RG....
Richburg is an unknown...he will be playing center, hopefully....we assume he just has to be better than turnstile Walton, but how much better is the question....
Pugh, played like his name...was it the elbow, sophomore jinx, or something else....will he be a RT, or will they move him to LG?
We probably sign a free agent LG or RT....we need depth in the OL....how did you like the free agent signings from last year? So that is not a sure thing...
there is nothing solid about this line yet....
maybe you could have a place like this"
"That would be something"
"Wouldn't it?"
I think the appeal with Herman is his power. His style is the road-grater power run game. With that in mind, he has not shown he can make it at this level consistently.
Schwartz is not a bad player. His health is a concern tho
Which is a bit different, and never did make total sense.
Didn't know Merideth originated it.
